French 1920s Empire Style Crystal Chandelier 36”x22” Gilded accents in gold foil over bronze

Rare modern Glass vase by Anzolo Fuga authenticated by Flavio Fuga, son of Anzolo. From the "RADICI" series, produced in 1960, and described on page 165 in Rosa Barovier Mentasti's book "ANZOLO FUGA", the organic details of the design impart a kinetic element to the piece that renders it exceptional. This beauty is 18"tall and in excellent condition.

Beautiful pair of Chinese rectangular stands made of camel bone. This pair are carved all over with different types of scrolling vines. The top of one is carved with a dragon and phoenix with a ball of fire between them floating in clouds. The other stand top is carved with a pair of dragons with a ball of fire between them floating in clouds over waves. Age: Republic Period, early 20th century. Pair of pre-war Art Deco era side stands. Heavy, solid wood with burl wood overlay. Each stand has a drawer with an open display shelf just below. The lower portion of each stand makes an artful curve into another open shelf. Great condition with excellent burl wood figuring.

Curved sides and wide and flat shoulder with chased addorsed scrolls between cabochon amethysts that spill out over the crisp rim. Set of 4 sterling silver figures of Bacchus. Made by Buccellati in Italy. A young Bacchus prances and gambols. One figure holds a grapevine. Another holds a large ivy leaf. The other two manipulate drapery. The infant deity, in all his manifestations, is buck naked apart from the artfully posed waistbands. Soft bottoms and stubby legs are on view. An attractive decoration for the wine cellar.

The 1920's and 30's was the age of the cocktail party, and the jewelry was characterized by vivid colors and sparkling diamonds. Cuban influences helped guide art deco design toward strong rectilinear geometry. This diamond ring is classic art deco. It is almost a full inch long and .5 inches deep at its widest. The platinum band has engraving.

Here is a rare and important ariel vase by the master Edvin Ohrstrom for Orrefors. The zig zag design on a blood red background is spectacular. The vase, in excellent condition, measures 7 1/4" (18cm) tall. On the underside is incised Orrefors, Sweden, Edvin Ohrstrom, the date code Ariel 1055E.

Chinese pair of carved jichimu wood stools. The curved legs are carved with cusped edges and narrow to lingzhi mushroom shaped feet. The seats are inset with white dali marble.
