Unusual vintage Japanese wooden obidome (sash ornament) carved as a peony flower with leaves resting on an open fan. Obidome is worn on an obi cord that holds the obi sash together, it is the only type of jewelry worn by Japanese women on formal occasions, and could serve as netsuke as well. Excellent sharp carving, beautiful painted highlights, very pleasant to handle. Signed on the back with a kakihan (carved monogram) of the artist. Length 3.1 inches.

Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Made in 1928, it's a wonderful pattern for the deco collector as well as glass lovers. This is the 8 1/4 inch plate in the crystal satin finish. Excellent condition, I have 4 available. This vintage Knickerbocker figurine or novelty stem is by Morgantown Glass from the 1940s. It features a crystal clear stem of man in a top hat wearing a monocle (looks like the Planter Peanut's man.) The flared art deco smoke blown bowl darkens as it forms the base, that is then attached to the stem. The foot is also smoke and is blown, finished glass that is also attached to the clear stem He stands 5 1/4" high and is in perfect, unused condition. Highly collectible...

This really pretty Ebony Black Swan Handled Bowl was made by Fenton Glass. This Bowl is not signed. It measures 11 1/2 inches across X 5 1/2 inches high to the top of the swan neck. The size of Kogai with Metal end: 5 7/16" Long, The size of Lacquer Kogai: 5 1/4" L x 5/8" W. Metal ends Kogai, Hair pin made by buffalo bone I think. It is removable as photo showing. Each end has Kinbari(gld filled) finish. It has "Kinbari" marking on each end as last photo showing. Kinbari(gold filled) is heavier than Kin-mekki(gold plated). Other is lacquer finish over some king bone. It is pretty light but not plastic. The condition of metal ends Kogai is excellent condition...
This rare Morgantown Genova Two-Tone tumbler is a beautiful deep cobalt Nanking Blue and golden topaz. The flared bowl is blown panel optic attached to the blown bell foot. This art deco tumbler glass stands 5 1/4" high and 3 1/2" across the cut and finished rim. It is in excellent, unused condition. Insurance and confirmation are included in the price.
Measuring 14 x 17 cm, this tobacco pouch from Indus Kohistan is embroidered in extremely fine brick stitch, cross stitch and satin stitch in silk thread. The beaded tassled edges are typical of the embroidery of this remote region of Pakistan. Condition is excellent, estimated age mid to late 20th century.

The Crinkle pattern was produced by Morgantown glass company in the late 1930's and into the 1960's. This is the 6 1/2 inch high juice or martini pitcher. The style is called 'Tijuana' and it holds 34 oz. Perfect condition, see my other listings for more Crinkle items in different colors.
This embroidered panel was hand-embroidered by Pashtun women from southern Afghanistan. It measures 23 x 25 cm and is embroidered in silk thread on a double cotton background. The embroidery technique is an intricate ladder stitch, the trademark of Pashtun embroidery. Estimated age: late 20th century. Condition is excellent.

Two rare small Japanese porcelain sleeping cats. The smaller cat measures 1 7/8" long, and I believe that it is the smallest cat that was included in a set of several cats of various sizes. The other cat is rare because it curls to the right (almost all cats curl to the left.) Both cats are from the Kutani kiln, and their condition is perfect. The smallest cat has the "made in Japan" mark. The asking price includes shipping within the USA.

The pattern is called 'Five fruits' and is one of Consolidated's scarce tableware lines. The set is listed in the Consolidated catalog as #2578tray and #2579 sundae. Cranberry 7.25" Syrup from the Victorian era. I can't tell you much about this other than it is old, probably from pre-1920's. It has a brass top and ground bottom.
A well rendered blue and white Chinese porcelain dish with 4 figures. In very good condition, surface showing no wear, there are few minor frits around the edge and a chip on the inside bottom foot rim, nothing of any consequence. Dating Republic period, it measures 5.5" (14 cm) diameter and 1.5" (3.8 cm) deep.
