An uncommon boxed set of twelve Art Deco sterling silver cocktail picks with red bakelite finials in the shape of maraschino cherries. The picks are presented in their original velvet and silk-lined fitted box. Each pick is marked “Sterling Silver”. It's quite rare to find a set of a dozen picks rather than the standard six.

A French Art Deco cocktail pick set in the form of Gideon the duck and his snail friend worked in chrome on a mahogany base. The design is by the famed French Art Deco illustrator Benjamin Rabier, who created a comic strip called "The Adventures of Gideon" in 1923. Finely detailed woman’s full length three paneled tube sarong from Ende, Flores Island, Indonesia. I bought this in 1988, this was used when I bought in Ende and has remained in storage since then. All natural dyes and handspun, hand woven cotton. Pristine condition with soft and comfortable weave. W: 150cm/59in and L: 1400cm/55in.

Fine old rattan/bamboo splitting knife used in basket making. This has a great natural patina on the handle with decorated “butt”, circa first half 20th century. The blade still carries a sharp edge and is still quite serviceable. L: 44cm/17.2in (blade is 11cm/4.2cm). Excellent condition.

German sterling silver place card holders. This set comprises 8 holders in 3 designs. One holder features an elegant courtly couple executing a cozy minuet. Three holders feature spirited country jiggers. Four holders feature entwined Bacchic babes, and are gilt. Marked “Sterling” and “Germany”. Very good condition.

A rare example of an early 1920's antique Japanese barber chair. The chair is made from hand forged iron with solid elm wood framing. Seat, arm rests, and head rest are wrapped in the original black leather. The position of the seat is adjustable to recline. Headrest is adjustable to many lengths.

Japanese wood and lacquer cloisonne document box. The ground features a carved lacquered tree bark design. Applied cloisonne flowers with a butterfly were achieved by using gold tone metal wires which were filled with colored lacquer and then hand polished. A Large Original Sign for "Mudjekeewis A Camp for Girls" in Lovell, Maine that operated from 1919-1969. Measures about 37 1/4" by 31 1/4" by 1 3/4" and weighs about thirty pounds. Two sided, both shown. There is a vintage photo of this sign in place on the website of the Lovell Maine Historical Society. Great memorabilia and folk art.

A vintage mid century modernist cup or goblet by William Spratling in Ebony with sterling balls around a sterling base and sterling inlaid disks.

Measures 4 5/8" high and 2 1/4" across. Marked with William Spratling Taxco Mexico around the conjoined Script 'WS'. This mark was used between 1951-67.

In fine condition, has some tarnish .
