Small Christ in cast bronze, traces of gilding. French medieval 13th century. The bronze has a beautiful old patina, there is very little gilding left. He wears a loincloth and an Egyptian headdress. A stylized flower appears to be drawn on his belly. It was mounted on a gilded wooden frame probably in the 18th century. Height of Christ alone 95mm. Good condition, no repairs, normal wear for the period, beautifull original patina.

It has not been cleaned for a very long time, so the gilding appears orange under a layer of oxidation, smoke and dirt.
