Large early Republic Chinese cloisonne lidded box on stand that could have graced a scholar’s desk. On each side is a 5 toed Imperial yellow dragon with the dragon on the lid chasing the flaming pearl of wisdom; all against a dark sky blue ground, the contrasting yellow stand really makes this piece stand out. This tripod censer is raised on three animal-masked feet that support its large, rounded body. The rim is decorated with a key fret design, and the body has ten lappets composed of stylized mask and key fret designs all in low relief. It retains its original brown patina overall with a deep greenish gray interior from use. Good condition.

A massive bronze (copper tin alloy) vase cast in Han dynasty Hu shape and with Han style Taotie mask handles. The archaistic style decoration is an amalgam of Shang and Zhou dynasty motifs. These consist of upper and lower bands depicting stylized dragons and a central band of large Taotie ("monster"} masks. All are reserved against a flattened Leiwen (cloud) daiper ground. A large and very impressive tomb pottery horseman, Chinese, 1368-1644 AD. The type has been thoroughly tested and was burnt approx 500 years ago, placing it in the mid Ming period, c. early-mid 16th. century.
The pottery horseman, a higher-ranking officer, was probably originally equipped with a standard of wood, that has now decayed. He is clad in body armor in blue and torquise and wears a cone- shaped helmet. He is riding a white horse with details in torquise.

Great example of a Durand champagne glass with ruby red cup and foot joined by an ambergris stem. The cup, stem and foot are nicely ribbed and measure 6 inches tall. The cup is 4 3/8 inches in diameter and the foot is 3 1/16 inches in diameter. The foot has a rolled rim and has a small polished pontil mark. This example is pristine.

A colorless Webb ewer or cruet decorated with an acid etched floral design and having an acorn stopper. The 7 ½ inch tall piece is 10 inches tall with the stopper in place. The stopper is not the original but is the correct style of stopper for this piece.
24034879 A nice small Pairpoint Rosaria compote, shape B-366. The compote has a Rosaria foot and bowl connected by a colorless stem with a bubble ball connector. Both the foot and the bowl are enhanced with a diamond quilted pattern. There is a polished pontil mark and there is no damage. The compote is 6 1/4 inches in diameter and 6 inches tall.
