This is a very interesting Olmec jade maskette. It dates to 1200BC-600BC. It is 1 3/4" square. It is nicely scooped in the back. It has not been cleaned or polished. It is heavily encrusted with clay type material that will not come off with a pin prick. It does have splitting in several areas. However, the piece is solid and the cracks do not go all the way through. It is not translucent, but it is a very nice quality piece of jade. It is a great study piece as it is obviously the mother-of-al...

This incredibly rare Olmec spoon is made from Robin's egg translucent blue jade. It has a perfect classic Olmec mouth which is very hard to find. These spoons were used for ceremonial snuffing of hallucinogenic substances by shamans. It is 4 1/4". It has beautiful patina and weathering is obvious. I purchased it from the famous collection of Michael Robbins from Santa Fe in 1992. The last picture is a spoon sold by Sotheby's several years ago. The hammer price was $330,000.

This unique Mayan translucent jadeite tube pipe is simply astounding and extremely detailed. The earliest mesoamerican pipes were tube pipes and date back to 1500BC. The material being smoked was inserted into the mouth of the serpent and inhaled from the other side. It could have had a perishable stem such as bone or wood. It was probably worn as a pendant until smoked. This is a particularly unique interpretation and rendition of a coiled snake. The serpent coils at the back and ends with the ...

It is made from a large rare thin 'Tabby' crystal with notches on the side. It is 3.75 inches square by 1/8". It was intricately carved and engraved to depict a scene of an offering ...

This outstanding Olmec jade standing figure is 5 3/4" long. The jade is high quality and opaque. There is no restoration or repair. Very rare and beautiful. It has excellent provenance and comes with a COA from Bill Breckinridge. There are many modern fakes on the market of Olmec standing figures. If it does not come with a COA from a reputable authenticator and is low priced, it is most likely fake. The last picture is for size reference only. This sale is only for the one piece pictured. This stunning pure gold and quartz necklace is from the El Bolo treasure. This is an extremely rare Olmec opaque blue jade perforator handle. It is 5 1/2" long. I purchased it from Michael Robbins in 1989. It appears to be a shaman in flight perhaps holding onto a transformational creature. The deep facial features, elongated head and deep cleft are classic. This one grabs hold of you and won't let go. It has one of the most eerily entrancing Olmec faces I have seen. It is ex. Sotheby's. It was authenticated by a forensic laboratory. All paperwork goes to buyer.

This is a Mayan Jade sitting cross-legged pregnant woman. Depictions of women are rare. Pregnant women are even rarer. She is wearing a coiled snake headdress. Snakes are a powerful symbol among the Maya. In their primal form, snakes represent the surge of life force that brings all things on earth into manifestation. It is 3" tall. Excellent patina. No damage. It was found in Guatemala and dates to 250-600AD. I purchased it in 1991 from dealer Michael Robbins.

This incredible Rabbit Island Dart arrowhead was found on Sauvie's Island, Oregon by Carroll Howe's sister while hunting with Carroll. I purchased the point from him on 12-13-90. Carroll wrote 4 books on Northwest material. It is made from gorgeous highly translucent orange agate. It has beautiful serrated edges and is flawless. The chipping is the finest. It has no stacks, curves or bends. It is 2 1/4". I believe it to be the finest Rabbit Island ever found and is certainly one of the largest. ...

This is a spectacular IMPORTANT Olmec jade maskette pendant depicting a mythical transformational were-jaguar with very rare features. It has the face and mouth of the most famous Olmec artifact of all, the "Kunz Axe" which was the first artifact attributed to the Olmecs and found in 1890. The fangs and mouth on the Kunz axe are unique making this iconography an extremely rare piece. One expert theorized what at first appear to be whiskers on the upper lip in fact more closely resemble character...
