Orrefors Sommerso Bottle Vase in gray and clear glass. Vase stands 8 inches (20.3 cm) Tall and is 4 inches (10.2 cm) in width. Designed by Nils Landberg for Orrefors. No chips, cracks or repairs. Signed and retains original label. Orrefors NU 3538/1 Circa 1950's

This large, heavy vase stands 11 inches (28cm) tall and tapers to 9.5 inches (24cm) wide at the opening. The rim of vase is gently scalloped. The clear ice-blue color of the glass is typical of Stromberg, and the vase is signed in script "strombergshyttan B99" to the base. Condition of the vase is excellent with no chips, cracks or repairs. Polished pontil. Circa 1935/36

Tan and stone white Alabastro Sfumato fume fish figural decanter. Fish has his tail up, with long back fins, and big, smiling lips. Clear decanter base. Produced by Seguso for Luxardo in the 1960's. Stands 12 5/8 inches (32.1 cm) Tall. Original labels for Luxardo, and made in Italy. No chips, cracks or repairs.

Decanter in pink alabastro with squared body, cylindrical neck, and a ball stopper. Stopper is white and pink alabastro; neither stopper nor decanter neck are ground. Pink Alabastro covered jar is cylindrical with a matching lid. Decanter measures 9 inches (23 cm) tall with stopper (7 1/8 inches (18 cm) without), decanter body is 3 inches (8 cm) square; jar is 7 1/4 inches (18 cm) tall with lid (5 1/8 (13 cm) without) and is 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) in diameter. No chips, cracks or repairs...

Four-lobed, melon shaped decanter with sterling silver mounts at the neck and stopper. The decanter stands 10.25 inches (26 cm) tall with the stopper in place, and is 8 inches (20 cm) with the stopper removed. The neck of the bottle is sterling (not overlay), and is marked CCH DENMARK 925S 228. The flat, circular stopper is approximately 2.25 inches (5.7 cm) in diameter and 3.5 inches (8.9 cm) long including the sterling mount, which is also marked CCH 925S...

Great sixties design! Saturnus vase in amber brown sommerso cased in crystal, flat polished top with slightly flared folded rim. Stands 5 5/8 inches (14.3 cm) tall and is approximately 4 inches (10.2 cm) in diameter. No chips, cracks or repairs. Signed. Circa 1962

Large Splatter glass vase for Hadeland (Norway) designed by Gro Bergslien. Vase is a combination of opalescent glass, splattered with blocks and networks of colors in yellow, rust, greens, and pinks, cased in clear glass. There are also embedded bubbles, adventurine, and mica spangles. The vase is 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) tall and 7.75 inches (19.7 cm) in diameter. Marked on base Hadeland GroB in script. Fire polished pontil mark. No chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1970.

Beautiful cased vase by Pallme-Konig und Habel, showing their excellent use of the casing technique! The vase is four layers of glass; orange, white, clear, then the decorative layer of textured red glass. The vase was then covered with irregular applied trailed decoration in black, which has been worked into the surface. The entire surface has been strongly iridized. Large clear glass sculpture of an Angelfish measuring 15 inches (cm) tall, and 11 1/2 inches (cm) wide at the widest point. There is a bubble inclusion "eye patch" for decoration. Designed by Licio Zanetti and made by Zanetti Vetreria Artistica, circa 1970, the piece is signed on the underside in script, Zanetti L. Zanetti Vetreria Artistica was founded by Licio and Licio's father, Oscar, in 1956. Licio Zanetti stepped down as director in 1989...

Beautiful slip graal bowl in maroon and clear glass, circa 1954. Intriguing floral or snowflake design at botton of bowl is the focus from which all the 'arms' of the spiral emanate, really lovely. The piece is engraved "Orrefors S Graal Nr. 1970L Edward Hald" The dimensions of the bowl are: Height 2 1/2" (6.4cm) Width 4 3/4" (12cm) The condition of the bowl is excellent, no chips, cracks or repairs.

White opalescent vase with turquoise stripes. Rim is pulled and curled. Retains it's blue and silver foil label Murano/Made in Italy/Glass. Height is 9 inches (22.8 cm). This pieces sparkles! Designed by Ermanno Toso this cylindrical decanter is made with twisted pink canes and aventurine filigree. Matching stopper with clear glass flange and stem. Stopper does have burst bubble which occurred during manufacture. Decanter stands just over 18 inches (46 cm) Tall, and has no chips, cracks or repairs. Retains the blue and silver foil export label used by Fratelli Toso. Identical piece is shown in Leslie Pina's book Fratelli Toso, page 23. Excellent condition...

Orrefors bowl internally decorated with blue spiral, with a black glass foot. Bowl has a diameter of 4 5/8 inches (cm) and a height of 2 inches (cm). Signed on the foot ORREFORS/S-GRAAL nbr 670-D/Edward Hald. Condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1969

Large stylized murano glass figure of a kneeling Asian, rendered in two shades of smoky gray glass with amethyst undertones. The figure is made of simple forms, but the attention to detail is evident in the face and head of the figure. The figure stands 13.5 inches (34.2 cm) tall and is slightly over 5 inches (12.7 cm) wide and is 7.5 inches (19 cm) deep. Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or repairs. Vetreria Alfredo Barbini incalmo spherical vase consisting of fused transparent amethyst and amber hemispheres, with cut and polished opening. Height is 9.5 inches (24 cm) Diameter at equator 10 inches (25.4 cm). No chips, cracks or repairs, few minor surface scratches. Inscribed: Barbini Murano. Circa 1970

Center bowl of opalescent glass with irregular aventurine patches floating in pools of clear teal-blue. Slightly irregular oval, almost egg shaped, bowl measures a (HUGE!) 19 inches (48 cm) by 13 (33 cm) and is 2.5 inches (6 cm) deep. Bowl has a flat bottom with a polished pontil and retains its blue and silver Murano Glass, made in Italy label. Likely an Ermanno Toso design of 1950/1960. Excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1960.

With it's GREAT color and style this Venini will fit easily into your Retro 50's decor! This Venini Fazzoletto measures just over 5 inches (12.7 cm) tall, and is 7 inches (17.8 cm) in diameter. The Turquoise interior is cased with a layer of latimo glass. Ground pontil, and signed "venini/Murano/Italia" on the bottom. The mark is difficult to read being white on white, but I've included a addtional contrast adjusted photograph to more clearly show the mark...
