This fine Ruby Block goblet was made by several manufacturers during the 1880s and beyond. It features hexagonal blocks surrounded by diamond "cuts", but it is pressed glass of course, made in 4 parts, the bowl being fused to the stem.

Known by many names and made by many companies, this goblet is unusual because the top is ruby stained, a reversal of the usual placement. Souvenir of Lewistown, PA is faintly scripted...

This high standard compote is of extra generous size to show off its many virtues. The bowl is McKee and Brothers (1853-99) Shell pattern also known as Fans with Diamonds. It would date to c. 1880.

The ring of the lid and its weight indicate lead or flint...

An absolutely delightful pair of Old Paris neo-classical Campana vases hand painted in the round with an effusion of floral bouquets including tulips, pansies, peonies, poppies, and more, on an ebullient pink ground. This neo-classically inspired porcelain pitcher is magnificent in its grace and, dare I say, grandeur. It expands as it rises from its gilded circular foot then recedes to give rise to a towering helmet style beaker. The base of the handle is anchored in a shield from which it serpentinely shoots up and then down to attach to the rim. The gilding is sumptuous especially around the hand painted scene of a riparian idyll with 2 people in discourse...

When Dr Wall discovered a formula for porcelain which would withstand boiling water, he had a huge hit on his hand. This lovely blue and white porcelain mimics the ever popular Chinese wares using similar decorations such as this fine fenced garden. Trees, birds, lush flora surround the garden...

This Victorian copper luster pitcher practically dances with joy for the colorful flowers strung around the blue band of its bulbous form. Beading borders the blue and rim of the pitcher. Equally exciting is the mythical figure on the beaker spout. Condition is excellent and still retains luminous shine even after 170 years of life.

This fine Staffordshire copper luster pitcher is decorated with a blue band of enamel, creating a very clean, simple design, accented with beading around the border and rim of the pitcher. The fancy serpentine and strap handles give it grace. The warmth of the copper makes it an attractive accessory to a bookshelf or cabinet.

A large ceramic studio art vase by the renowned Clement Massier whose work with lustrous iridescent glazes still commands admiration today. This ceramic vase is decorated with mythological and fantasy creatures, inscribed on the surface, each of which alternates between stylized fleurs de lys. The glazes are deep red - perhaps burgundy - infused with coppery tones...

An especially attractive flint glass mold pressed goblet in the block and star pattern with ruby flashed top. Overall condition is very good although you can see some mild loss to the ruby stain. The glass probably dates to circa 1910. It was most likely made by Tarentum Glass.

A fine leaded glass water goblet with wheel cut swag and leaf motifs around the top of the bowl. The round foot is cut with a Star of David which rises with highly facet stem blocks upon which rests bowl with graduated terraces before gushing with flaring walls. Early flint glass water goblet on round foot with thin stem rising to cylindrical bowl wheel etched with flowers and leaves. Excellent condition.

The goblet belonged to the collection of Lenna Gertrude Clarke Judd (1865 - 1939) who moved from New York City in 1903 to Dalton, Georgia where she became a well respected philanthropist through out the sate. We have the complete provenance from Mrs Judd down to the present.

A very unique 14 sided paperweight with an interior sculpture having a latticino base supporting stranded cage housing a green glass bubble. Its quality workmanship is accented by the beveled edges on the top and bottom. In excellent condition and unsigned. Please note that the glass is slightly yellow, due in large measure tot he yellow glass rods. Our images suggest a clearer brighter glass, but that is not the case when viewed in normal light.
