A pearlware child’s mug with the stencil inscription in blue on the front, “A Gift from the Pottery,” in a cut corner rectangle with a seaweed surround. The top and bottom of the mug with a single blue band. The ends of the oval handle spread like a leaf. 2 1/8 inches (5.4 cm) tall, 3 ¼ inches (8.3 cm) across the handle.

Condition: no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Tiny rough spot on the lip and a little wear on the base...

An underglaze blue with overglaze orange and gilt Chinese export plate with plants flowering out of rocks in the center...

A well decorated Chinese Imari export plate with underglaze blue and overglaze red, orange and gold. The scene of flowering plants and a Chinese fence covers the face of the plate, from the rim on one side, across the center and onto the opposite rim. There is a single blue line at the outer border and a brown edge. The back is decorated with blue and red trailing flowers and has an unglazed foot. Probably the first quarter of the 18th century. 8 5/8 inch (22 cm) diameter.

A very well hand painted on porcelain dessert plate depicting blackberries with leaves and canes in the well of the plate. A thin band of black and gilt marks the edge of the lip which is decorated with a shaped band of grey, separated from a band of maroon band by thin lines of black and white separated by a slightly thicker band of textured gilding. The rim is gilt. Three pontil marks are in the center of the bottom of the plate and the reddish-brown transfer printed mark of a belt inscribed, ...

A very well decorated two handled urn or vase with everted rim with a black background showing figures in classical garb around the main portion of the body and with elaborate continuous ornamentation, mostly in orange on the outer edges and handles. No makers mark or mark for the country of origin, but likely to be English (possibly by Samuel Alcock & Company). It might be French. In either case based on the style it was made around 1850. 8 5/8 inches (22 cm) tall and the same diameter.

With the purchase of the lease on the Nymphenburg factory by Albert Baumi in 1887 the factory started to re-produce figures that had been originally made in the 18th century. This figure of a Turk, originally modeled by Bustelli, is one of those. Like many of the 18th century figures this one is not decorated with colors. 4 ¾ inches (12 cm) tall and 5 ¼ inches (13.5 cm) across the base. Shield mark and the numbers 192 and 0 impressed on the underside.

A high quality porcelain deep sided saucer decorated with an untied bouquet of flowers slightly off center and two small blossoms on either side of the bouquet. The underside inside the foot is impressed with the Nymphenburg mark, the letter “K” and the fraction “1/7”. The saucer is 5 1/8 inches (13 cm) diameter.

Condition: No chips cracks hairlines or repairs. Some very light scratching on the inside of the saucer and a couple of very minor firing flaws.

A large sauce or warming pan decorated in the French taste with blue lines enclosing gilt flowers and further gilding on the knop, handle and the three feet. The rim of both the top and the pan are decorated with dental gilding. On the underside the underglaze blue shield, the impressed numbers “822” (giving the date of 1822) and the impressed number “18.” Overall length with handle 10 ¼ inches (26 cm), diameter of the top 7 inches (17.5 cm), Height without the top 4 ½ inches (11.5 cm)...

Soft paste porcelain luncheon or salad plate, 8 3/8 inches (20.32 cm) diameter, with hand painted underglaze medium blue in the “Ronda” pattern. Though unmarked, the pattern, the color and the deep molded swirled ribs and basketweave border are distinctively Tournai. The underglaze blue “2” on the back is probably the mark of the painter.

Condition: no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Minor surface scratches.

A molded porcelain plate with an overlapping acanthus leaf lip picked out in gilding and blue-grey. In the upper part of the well an exotic bird rests on a branch with green leaves and red berries. On the back are the gold anchor mark, pontil marks and an inventory number applied much later. Like most Chelsea of the period it is quite heavy. 8 ¼ inches (21 cm) diameter.
