A rare and very attractive Peruvian stirrup spout vessel in the shape of a monkey.
Moche period (100-600 AD)
Condition: the four legs have been restored, the nose is chipped.
This piece comes from an old Dutch private collection.

In the shape of two dragons chasing the flaming pearl. High grade silver with enamelled details, 11 smaller coral beads, diameter 9 mm. And one large coral bead, diameter 15 mm. The bracelet is 9 cm wide and 7,5 cm tall. The widest inner size is 6,5 cm. China, late 19th/early 20th century.
High ranking court lady with exquisite hairdo. White pottery with remains of red and black pigments. H. 30 cm. Good condition. Tang Dynasty (618-907).

A finely decorated snuffbottle with a scene of figures in an interior. Decorated in underglaze blue and red. It has a Yongzheng mark. Considering the quality of the painting and the heavy wear to the glaze, to my opinion it is of the period. Any comments and ideas are very welcome.

Jambupati type (Buddha in royal attire). Shan State. H. 20,5 cm ( 24 cm. incl. stand). Condition: part of the pedestal is missing, mi or chips and age wear. Overall in good condition. Please have a close look at the pictures.
An interesting bronze mirror with its original lead handle. This is rare as most of the time the lead handles have been replaced because the original has disintegrated. Diameter 14 cm, Length 21 cm. Mounted on a museum quality stand.
Red pottery moulded figure, glazed in turquoise, amber and black. On the back of his stool there is a coin symbol ( god of wealth?). H. 20 cm. Overall in very good condition with wear and flaking to the glaze and a chip at the back of his right arm. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).

Large flat figure wearing a skirt, a turban and appliques. Condition: damage to the appliques, left arm repaired. Provenance: Arte Primitivo, New York, September 2005. H. 19 cm.
Lavishly inlaid with engraved mother of pearl. Dimensions: 30,5 x 18 x 11 cm.
Exceptional good condition with almost all the inlay still intact, only some minor pieces missing. The wood has some age cracks and one of the long sides is a bit crooked. The brass corner pieces are all original.
Made of red pottery, covered with a turquoise glaze and black decorations. H. 30 cm. The foot is very wide because this lamp was placed on the sand in the desert. Condition: minor damage to the cup, glaze chips, a firing crack in the foot.

Seated on a lotus throne, guarded by two attendants. On the back of the stand there is an inscription : This is a statue (or carving) or Kwanyin, for Mr. Wang (??)'s wife, Mrs. Chao (??).
2nd day, 4th month Daoguang 10th year (1830 A.D.).
Condition: usual age wear, loss of gilding, the ribbon from the crown at the right side is missing. H. 23 cm.

Shaped as a pile of coins, the lid made of a real silver coin. Hallmarked at the bottom. H. 24 mm, D. 18 mm. (1 x 0,75 inch)
The front of the pendant is decorated with 3 figures in a garden, one holding a fan and one holding a parasol. The text on the back of these pendants is usually about protection and good fortune for the wearer.
Dimensions: 7 x 5,5 cm, length of the chain 53 cm. Weight 68 gr.
There are holes on 3 sides of the pendant. There is a hallmark on the top side.
Provenance: Dutch private collection.
The acid test shows a silver content of ca. 90 %.
Decorated with floral patterns and Buddhist symbols. H. 6,5 cm D. 15 cm. The glaze with age cracks and some firing flaws. No damage or repair.
Finely embossed and engraved with a boy riding a Qilin (fertility symbol), surrounded by Buddhist symbols. Dimensions: 11 x 8 cm. Three holes at the bottom where chains with bells were once attached. See Margareth Duda - Four Centuries of Chinese Silver, for comparable lock pendants.
