A porcelain storage jar in blue and white with decoration of persons in a garden and a hare mark at the bottom. Tianqi or Transitional period (1620-1640) H. 18 cm Condition: excellent, no chips or cracks

A good late Qing embroidered silk robe with attached sleeve bands. Late 19th century. W. 113 cm H. 102 cm. Condition: generally good with normal age wear and light discoloring.

A magnificent and rare figure of a fat lady made of painted terracotta. Fat ladies are among the most famous objects of the Tang Dynasty (618-906) and they are a wellknown symbol of wealth.H. 31 cm. Condition: no traces of repairs are visible, most of the original colour is still present.

A rare and large blue and white porcelain jar, decorated with birds and flowers. China, Wanli (1573-1620). Height 21,5 cm. Condition: excellent, only some wear and fritting to the glaze on the mouth rim. On the bottom there is a scratch or glaze crack. This is not a crack in the body.

A very nice paktong opium box decorated in email cloisonné. H. 5,6 cm, W. 5 cm.China, 19th century. Condition: very minor chips to the enamel (normal age wear).

Made of pottery, glazed in green and ochre, cold painted with red and black pigments. H. 19 cm. Condition: expected age wear, no repairs. Excavated in the southeast of the Shanxi Province. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644)

The pottery body covered with a green glaze, the peony decoration applied with a black glaze in sgraffito technique. Diameter 14 cm. Condition: two minor glaze chips. China, Song Dynasty (960-1279)

A wonderful marble sculpture of a Bodhisatva. Excavated in the southeast of the Shanxi Province, China. Comes with a custom made stand. Tang Dynasty (618-906). H. 20 cm (22 cm incl. stand).

With very fine engraving. The lid decorated with email cloisonné. H. 6,5 cm, W. 6 cm, D. 3 cm (2.7 x 2.5 x 1.25 inch) Minor chips to the enamel on the lid. China, 2nd half 19th century.

With original pigments and excellent patina. H. 40 cm (excl. stand). Provenance: Galerie Lemaire, Amsterdam, 1993. Note: On this piece a name is written. I couldn't read it very well, but it is something like Imtree Well (?)

Porcelain snuff bottle in underglaze blue and red. Yongzheng mark, but 19th century. H. 7 cm. Condition: the red parts have firing flaws.

Yuan Dynasty (1279-1368). Diameter 13 cm. Condition excellent. Origin: Jiangxi Province.

Porcelain vase decorated with carved peonies and glazed in the typical blueish green Qingbai color. H. 23 cm. Condition: some discoloring, a firing crack on the shoulder (under the glaze)and a very small star crack in the glaze on the inside of the mouth. China, Song Dynasty (960-1279)

An attractive cast bronze figure, depicting a dignitary or deity. China, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) Condition: As is often seen on Ming bronzes the casting is very thin in several places. This has caused minor holes in the bronze. The backside of the seat is missing. Please refer to the pics. Remains of red and black pigment are visible. This set of seven Chinese porcelain bowls comes from the Diana shipwreck. It sank in March 1817 in the Strait of Malacca. The contents were recovered in 1994 and auctioned at Christie's in Amsterdam in 1995. Dimensions: Diameter 14 cm, H. 7 cm each. Condition: 5 bowls perfect, one with a chip on the mouthrim, one with a hairline crack. Every bowl has the original auction sticker.

Very rare and early piece, nicely cast, finely engraved and with a good patina. The Krishna figure has two silver bracelets on each arm. H. 24 cm. Condition: left index finger restored. Black glaze with russet stripes and splashes on a light grey stoneware body. Diameter 10 cm, H. 6 cm. Excellent condition, with a minor firing flaw on the inside.

A very rare lacquered wood opium box. The outside decorated with poems, seals flower branches and a bird. The lid with brass handles. When folded out the lid and front become a tray. The box offers place to 5 pipe bowls and a lamp and has two drawers for tools. At the back of the mirror there is another compartment.Under the drawers there is space for a small metal tray. A very rare piece of opium paraphernalia. China, late 19th to early 20th century. Dimensions (closed): 23 x 16 x 14,5 cm. Excellent condition with expected age wear.

Wonderful wooden pipe case and tobacco pouch. The pipe case contains the original pipe, made of paktong and bamboo. The pouch in the shape of Daruma,made of softwood and boxwood with inlaid mother of pearl eyes. Dimensions: pipe case L. 23 cm, the pouch H. 10,5 cm, W. 7 cm. Condition: excellent. Age: Late Edo, first half 19th century.
