A finely cast bronze Buddha with an excellent green patina. Burma, Shan state, 18th century. H. 27,5 cm. Condition: excellent. Provenance: bought from Lopburi Arts and Antiques in Singapore, ca. 2001.

A very rare lacquered wood opium box. The outside decorated with poems, seals flower branches and a bird. The lid with brass handles. When folded out the lid and front become a tray. The box offers place to 5 pipe bowls and a lamp and has two drawers for tools. At the back of the mirror there is another compartment.Under the drawers there is space for a small metal tray. A very rare piece of opium paraphernalia. China, late 19th to early 20th century. Dimensions (closed): 23 x 16 x 14,5 cm. Excellent condition with expected age wear.

Wonderful wooden pipe case and tobacco pouch. The pipe case contains the original pipe, made of paktong and bamboo. The pouch in the shape of Daruma,made of softwood and boxwood with inlaid mother of pearl eyes. Dimensions: pipe case L. 23 cm, the pouch H. 10,5 cm, W. 7 cm. Condition: excellent. Age: Late Edo, first half 19th century.

Wonderful Qingbai porcelain censer with moulded decoration. China, Yüan Dynasty (1279-1368). Dimensions: H. 12 cm, D. 9,5 cm. Condition: excellent, no cracks or repairs.

A wonderful example of Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) burial gifts, this pair of glazed and painted pottery horses and grooms. Dimensions: W. 20 cm H. 17 cm. Condition: expected age wear, no damage or repair.

A very nice gilt brass hairpin in the shape of a butterfly, decorated with kingfisher feathers. The wings made of jade or nephrite, the body with fine filigree work. China, late 19th/early 20th century. H. 15 cm W. 6 cm. Condition: expected age wear.

A wonderful Tibetan lama statue, made of gilt repoussé copper, dating from the 18th or 19th century. The figure still has it's original ornaments hanging from the shoulders. H. 30 cm W. 21 cm. Condition: expected age wear to the gilding, a few cracks in the copper. The ornament (probably a bottle) in the lama's lower hand is missing. Very good condition considering the age.

Decorated with a bird on a rock and flower panels. Diameter 14 cm. The footrims with attached oven sand, often seen on porcelain from this period. Wanli (1573-1619). Condition: one saucer with a hairline crack.

A pair of gilt brass hairpins, decorated with kingfisher feathers and glass beads. China, late 19th/early 20th century. H. 16 cm W. 13 cm. Condition: the kingfisher feathers are mostly gone.

Made in Ganga-Jumna (two color bronze) technique in the 17th century. This complicated technique is nowadays lost. Please note the very fine detail on this figure, like bracelets, anklets and rings. An outstanding piece, this scholar's rock in huanguali with finely carved scenes all around the mountain. This piece may date from the Qianlong period, but not later then early 19th century. It measures: H 22 cm, W. 14 cm, D. 10 cm. Condition: excellent, with a beautiful soft patina. A small opening at the top may heve been used as a brush holder.

Depicting a Tirthankara surrounded by consorts, elephants and figures in seated posture. The shrine is inlaid with copper and silver. A very dine piece from Gujarat. H. 15 cm (6 inch). Provenance: private collection Belgium.

A finely carved redwood (hongmu) box with carved soapstone ornaments in the shape of elephants. China, 19th century. Condition: two ornaments missing on the lid, the third one with a repair to the leg. Measurements: L. 13 cm, W. 6 cm, H. 8,5 cm.

A rare and finely carved boxwood box. The lid carved with a poem, one long side has a scene with three goats in a garden, the other long side has a scene with two figures in a garden with pavillions, one short side has a garden scene with a flying bird, the other short side is plain. On the inside of the box there painted Chinese characters, which possibly represent the name of the owner. China, 18th or 19th century. Measurements: L. 11 cm, W. 5cm, H. 4 cm. Condition: excellent, with beautiful wear and patina.

The cloisonné stand decorated with rat and vine motif (symbol of long life). H. 18 cm ( 7 inch), D. 10 cm (4 inch). Condition: one chip to the enamel.

The pipe made of bamboo, the ends made of ivory. Engraved paktong saddle and a plain stoneware bowl with maker's mark. China, late 19th century. L. 49 cm (20 inch). Condition: age cracks in the ivory, wonderful patina.

Silver opiumbox, inlaid with copper and with a copper roller in the lid. Marked at the bottom. China, 19th century. H. 5 cm.

With an unusual dark blue and turquoise glaze. The woman with an unusual hairdo. H. 34 cm (the man), 31 cm (the woman). Condition: no damage or repair. parts of the soil can easily be removed to obtain a more colorful glaze.

With a lustruous brown glaze over a black underlayer. H. 8,5 cm, diameter 8,5 cm. Very good condition with nice spur marks under the foot. Song Dynasty (960-1279).

Wonderful early sculpture, depicting a Chinese saint or deity. China, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). H. 35 cm. Condition: expected age wear.

Decorated with dragons, fish, butterflies and long life characters, inlaid with glass beads. The enamels in green, red, purple and several shades of blue. This type of tiaras was worn by high ranking court ladies at the end of the Qing Dynasty. Size: W. 20 cm , H. 11 cm. Height including stand 38 cm.

Museum quality piece. The front decorated with two dragons and the flaming pearl, the back decorated with bats, the standing rim decorated with colorful flower bands, both on the inside and outside. A very rare piece, this foldable paktong scroll weight, which, when folded out, can be used as a frame for calligraphy. Finely engraved with a crane in a landscape. Dimensions: closed 20x2,3 cm, opened 15,5x7 cm. Age: 19th century. Condition: excellent.

Made of silk. Two panels with very fine embroidery of a dragon and a phoenix, with lots of gold thread. The other panels with simple flower patterns. Some of them with gilt brass bells at the bottom. Condition: expected age wear and discoloring, but overall in good condition. Dimensions ca 100x100 cm. Ca. late 19th century.
