This Mexican Silver necklace is hallmarked with an ms conjoined, Taxco, Sterling and an eagle 3 as shown. It is very outside of what I would normally acquire. Lighter than my average acquisitions, it is solid with no repousse and is 30 grams in weight. Very comfortable as it feels lighter than air. Vintage Mexican silver Maestro Beto is the signature on this beautifully hand chased, solid show stopper. The chain is a swirl that measures .25in. tall while the drop is a 2 1/8th in. diameter circle with a synthetic color changing stone. It shows off blue, pink and purple hues depending on the light. The weight is a hefty 57 grams and is made with thick silver. The wearable length is 16in. I have never seen anything made by Beto that was not well executed, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

A stunning Margot De Taxco # 5258 matching necklace and bracelet set. The necklace entails a 5 inch inside diameter, 16 inch total length, and a 120 gram weight. The bracelet has a 7 inch total length and 51 gram weight. This is super heavy and built with quality. The two pieces hook together for a rich chain. A perfect matching set for any occasion!

Early Mexico City open backed repousse cuff looks so fabulous without being embossed around the background of the roses because it makes the repousse really pop. This is a 1 10/16th in. wide and the diameter is 2.5in. There are no repairs, no dents and no light holes that come from poorly pressed silver. The roses are brisk and superbly dimensional. An excellent example and fabulous on.

Matl Matilde Poulat opened her shop in 1931.(Pack Davis) She with her nephew Salas produced folk art jewels that are sought after today. This signed example is studded with turquoise and clear, faceted amethyst squares. The silver work shows itself as an excellent example that is 7 in. long and 1.75in. tall. The weight is heavy at 63 grams as a bracelet with open air filigree. Collectors will not be disappointing with this bracelet.

Velazquez is known for his folkwork style in Mexico City. Repousse carved tops and puffy moth links were his specialty. This amethyst center is a gorgeous glowing stone. A roomy, approximately 17in wearable and a 1 1/8 inch at it's widest point in the drop make a clean, tasteful size to wear with anything and go anywhere. This necklace is signed Taxco 980 and while there is no artist attached to this work it is of exceptional quality. Gorgeous on angles at a V and known to be a Valentin Vidaurreta design signed and produced by William Spratling. Inner diameter 2.25in. 2.5in. at highest point. Signed SFC with eagle 3 and weighing in at 87 grams is this really bold pectoral of repousse beaded elegance. Striking with the drop being 3.5in. tall x 4.0in. across and the wearable approximately 16in. Comes with matching earrings that are one inch long and 8.5 grams. A gorgeous Palacios rare find. The flower is backed repousse with 3 warmed turquoise stones. The sweeping leaf below is open backed repousse. The patina is fantastic and the design is sublime. The weight is 20 grams heavy and the height is 2.5in. and width is 1.75in. wide. This brooch has no damage and it is collector quality.

This signed Hector Aguilar cuff is sophisticated and suitable to wear anywhere with the black dress or jeans. The design is sections of hand carved scallops when put one after another resembles clouds. The gap is 1 inch and is 1 5/8th's inches tall. The diameter is currently at 2.25in. 104 grams of silver is guiding the quality and a natural patina adds to it's beauty. This can be sized one size up or down by a professional jeweler. We have an obsidian stone Mask brooch that exhibits an exceptional gold sheen. The brooch is 2 in. by 1.5in. Signed RB and with eagle 3. The carving has no chips, cracks or damage. The gold sheen obsidian is getting harder to obtain today and this is a beauty. The silver work on the head dress is exemplary. It was difficult to get a picture of the sheen with my camera. The lighter color is the reflection from light casting on the sheen.

We have a unique Los Ballesteros pectoral necklace with a drop of 2.75in.across and 2in. tall. The stone is a color changing synthetic that was widely used in the Spratling era by many tallers. The wearable length is just under 16in. Being a pectoral style the drop rests at just below the hollow of the neck and slightly tips outward making it very comfortable to wear. 17 in. long 1 1/8th in. tall weight 85 grams This Fred Davis was designed by Valentin Vidaurreta. It was later produced by Hector Aguilar for Valentin Vidaurreta which is also listed on my site. This trapezoid shape has a higher peak and each link is a bit larger than the design made by Aguilar. The design is shown in the book WILLIAM SPRATLING AND THE MEXICAN SILVER RENAISSANCE. This bracelet is hallmarked Mexico Silver and it is a refreshing take on a Spratling design but leaving it to be all of it's own originality. The bracelet is 1.5in. tall in the front with the repousse band goes to .50in. in the back. This is a heavy piece in your hands and is 2.5in. in diameter. There are 6 turquoise snake eye stones on the cuffs of the hands. The amethyst balls are free of any damage and they are 5/8th's in. wide and have a gorgeous deep purple color.

Gerardo Lopez was and is known to have made these gorgeous pectoral necklaces that really say it all about the fashion of Mexican silver in the Spratling era. These wondrous bumble bees are a Margot de Taxco signed creation. She is known for her fantastic enamel work. The earring clamps work and are the thickest best working clampers I have put on.
