This is an early Antonio Pineda necklace that I have seen only in obsidian. Everyone over uses the word rare but ...this is very, very rare.. The stones are better than most amethysts seen and the dangles drop from the center is 1.75in.long. The weight is 106.5 grams. With a wearable of 16.5in. it will fit most. The early mark of SILVER BY TONO always shows me a warmer side of Pineda's work and is my personal favorite. There is no damage of any kind as it has been well cared for. The hook is the...

The pyramids have a measurement of 10 mm. in height giving the bracelet great dimension. 87 grams is the weight and the patina is natural and gorgeous. The condition is without repairs and damage. It seriously appears to have hardly been worn. I do not like to use the word rare as all of these treasure made by the top tier Maestros are rare but this one deserves that title. I think romance is the tale of this storyteller necklace by Far Fan who is known for quality workmanship. The wearable length is approximately 17.5in. The largest panel with the senorita in the center is 1.75in. tall. The construction is framed silver like a picture frame with a niello background. The images are carved overlays on the silver. By no means is this piece light weight as it is made with thick silver. Produced entirely by hand and weighing 69 grams heavy this piece is an enchanting t...

This is an impressive Hector Aguilar bracelet. Vintage dated to 1940-45 because of the earlier 990 mark making this one more rare than most. Weighing 51.2 grams and 1 1/8in. wide the chain is heavy and the gage of the medallion is thick silver. I was quite surprised the first time I had this design in my hands because it was a larger piece than anticipated from photographs. A lovely addition fit for anyone's collection.

Made by Margot Van Voorheis this necklace proves that not all great things come in big packages. The workmanship is complicated to say the least. The entire 15in. chain is composed of the tiniest granulated beads which are then channel set throughout with each links length measuring 3/16th of an inch. Nine perfect teardrop dangles are the center piece attracting much attention and the drop is 1in. tall and 2.75in. across. This design was also produced in enamel but this in all silver is the rich...

One of the best Sigi Pineda's for a collection is this outstanding bracelet of silver brushed "pearls" and a concave black niello background that goes half the way around. Sigi's silver brushed pearl look was achieved by making a cutting of a tight spiral onto the bead balls. It is evident in the close up photography. From a look to your arm when worn it gives a satin finish effect. The quality of the thickness of the silver and bead work shows off the heft of 80 grams. This published design has...
