A modernist, abstract 14K Gold and Sterling Silver curved and flattened wire brooch by Ed Levin.

Measures 7/8" high and 2 3/4" long. Signed, 14K, © Ed Levin, and Sterling. Fine condition with minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. Has a rollover clasp that holds tightly.

A striking modernist sterling silver ring from Spain designed by Joachim S'Paliu. Born in Cordoba in the 1940's he became one of the leading mid century modernist jewelers of Spain.

Has a zig zag and curved band of sterling with a raised tumbled brown and black mottled stone. Not sure of the name for the stone.

The front of the ring measures 1 1/8" long and 3/4" across. The band is 3/8" wide.

A Mid Century Modernist pair of screw back earrings in a sterling silver oyster or floral design signed Macefield for William Mason and Leonard Field, American studio jewelers who worked in Massachusetts in the 1940's -70's.

These earrings measure 1" across. Screw backs hold securely. Signed Macefield Sterling on the back of each earring. The screw backs are also signed Sterling.

A very well crafted pair of sterling silver earrings and matching pendant, each with a prong set rose quartz stone. We especially like how the prongs are formed from folding pieces of the main parts. Pendant measures 2 1/2" long and 1 3/4" across. Would look nice on a chain or neck ring. Screw back earrings measure 1 3/8" high and 1 1/8" across. Screw backs are marked T2 and Sterling. They hold securely. Very nice condition, warm patina. Great modernist design.

A sterling silver modernist brooch by Israel, 'Izzy' Sklar, American Mid Century jeweler. He was the husband of MCM jeweler Phyllis Sklar.

This brooch is made of thick sterling tangled wire in a brutalist design. Measures 1 1/2" tall and 1 3/4" at the widest. Weighs 14 gr.

Has the stylized i sklar hallmark and sterling on the back. Rollover clasp holds securely.

A mid century modern abstract pendant in bronze by Eivind Hillestad, Norway.

Marked EH, and 700. Designed by noted Norwegian gold and silversmith, Leif Sverre Høvren Johnsen.

The pendant has a central carnelian colored swirled cabochon. Measures 1 7/8" long to the top of the bale and 2" across. Chain is 21" long and has a spring clasp that holds securely. In nice condition with some minor scratches.

This is a spectacular vintage hand wrought sterling silver brooch by the well known Boston silversmith, Ella L. Cone. Looks like a surreal silhouette.

Measures 4 3/8" high and 1 5/8" at the widest. Roll over clasp holds securely. Marked Sterling, Hand ELC Made on the back. Has a little tarnish and minor surface scratches.

Reminds us of the surreal pieces by Paul Lobel and Ed Wiener.

A long pitchfork shaped sterling silver brooch by Jean Lasnier. He was a member of the Metal Arts Guild between 1951-64 with many of the well known studio artisans of the Mid Century Modern jewelry movement.

Made of polished sterling with a central textured piece for an interesting contrast. Measures 4" long and 1" across at the widest. Marked Sterling and Lasnier on the back. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely.

A sterling silver hand wrought cuff bracelet and matching ring, each with a central suspended floating orb by the mid century modernist studio jeweler, Ruth Berridge, (1921-2004). A vintage modernist sterling silver bracelet by Taxco artisan, Erika Hult de Corral in a stylized chevron design. Marked Ric, Taxco SA, Hecho en Mexico, and 925. Also has style number 40.

Measures 6 1/4" around the inside and 2 3/4" long at the front. Better for a smaller wrist although I think it was made to stay in place and not spin around. Clasp snaps securely. There is a safety catch for extra security.

A Mid Century Modern pendant in sterling silver by Kultaseppa Salovaara, Ky of Turku Finland with eight light blue faceted bezel set stones. The pendant has a curved bale which is part of the design for an interesting effect.

The pendant measures 2 1/8" high and 1 1/2" wide at the center. Currently suspended from a 17" sterling chain that has a secure spring clasp.

A modernist sterling silver brooch by noted NYC mid century jeweler, Sam Kramer, in a stylized 'V' shape with a central copper textured cabochon. Has a three dimensional design. Measures 2 5/8"long and 1 1/2" high. Marked with Sam Kramer's mushroom mark and sterling. Rollover safety clasp holds securely. Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. There is a slight bend at one corner, not sure if it is original. Great MCM design.

A sterling silver modernist vintage pendant and chain probably from either Finland or Sweden. Marked with what looks like 'AKH' 830 and some other mark. Marked on both the bale and the clasp. A vintage mid century modernist set of 2 salt dishes and 2 spoons by William Spratling in sterling silver and rosewood. These were in the Montgomery Ward 1943 Christmas Book and each sold for $4.75 including the spoon. From Spratling's 1st design period.
