A vintage modernist 830 silver brooch and/or pendant by the noted silversmith from Norway, H.C. Østrem whose work is signed OXO. Can be worn off the chain as a brooch or on the chain as a pendant.

Made of 830 silver, which was widely used as a silver standard in Scandinavian countries, in a three dimensional design, this brooch or pendant measures 2" across and 3" high. A mid century modernist pendant reminiscent of the designs of American studio jewelers, Betty Cooke or Frances Holmes Boothby. This piece depicts three cut out birds on a round satin finished sterling disk.

The pendant measures 1 1/2" in diameter. Marked Sterling on the back. Has a little tarnish and a few minor surface scratches.

Suspended from a 19" sterling chain that has a secure spring clasp. Marked 925 on the clasp.

Striking design.

A wonderfully constructed heavy necklace or collar by Bent Knudsen, (Bent K), Denmark. Shark fin shaped curved links, thick sterling, hook closure. Very Mid Century.

Marked Sterling, Denmark, Bent K. Measures 14 1/8" around and 1/2" at the widest. Can be adjusted with an extender. We can provide an extender on request. Would be best on a slender neck.

Fine condition, has some minor surface scratches.

A vintage modernist sterling silver textured pendant with a contrasting polished surface by the well known Danish silversmith Jane Wiberg.

The pendant measures almost 2" across and 1 7/8" high. Marked Sterling, 353 and Jane Wiberg. Marked Jane and Finn on the large bale which is hidden behind the pendant. The brooch is 3 dimensional and is almost half of a sphere. The two textured areas curve in for contrast.

An amazing silver repousse necklace with a central moth pendant and turquoise oval cabochon by Matilde Eugenia Poulat. Signed MATL in block letters and 0.900 for the silver content. Measures 17 1/2" long and 2 1/2" at the widest. Spring clasp holds securely. Beautifully intricate work. This is the earliest mark for her Taller, (1934-40). Wonderful condition!

A mid century modern abstract pendant in bronze by Else & Paul Hughes, Norway.

The pendant measures 2 1/4" long to the top of the bale and 2 1/2" across. Chain is 22" long and has a spring clasp that holds securely. In fine condition. Interesting contrast of the top shinier edges to the darkened patina of the rest of the pendant.

This is the second example of this Studio Else & Paul design that we have seen that is unsigned.

A vintage sterling hand wrought large pendulum shaped pendant with a small prong set dark red stone in the center. Looks like it may be a garnet. The pendant has smooth sterling around the rim with two zigzag rows of textured sterling across the center.

Measures 3 1/2" long and 2 1/2" across. Has a large double bale so could be worn on a thick chain or neck ring. Marked Sterling on the back. Has some tarnish and minor surface scratches.

Very striking, well crafted design.

A rare sterling silver modernist necklace by Phyllis Sklar, American Mid Century jeweler. This piece has a sterling wire overlay on a darkened, oxidized surface adorned with an oval moonstone cabochon, three small pearls, a green bezel set stone, (maybe jade) and dangles of pale green and dark red bezel set cabochons.

Measures 16 1/2" long with a 1 3/4" drop in the center. Has the stylized 'p' hallmark, phyllis and sterling on the back.

A well crafted, detailed sterling silver necklace by Albino Manca in an Arts and Crafts floral design.

Measures about 17 1/4" long and 1/2" wide. Marked with a partial Hand Wrought stamp, Sterling, and A. Manca on the back of one link. Has a hook clasp that holds securely.

Very detailed design. Warm patina, fine condition.

A vintage modernist sterling silver pendant by Elis Kauppi for Kupittaan Kulti Oy, Turku Finland. Has a three dimensional Shadowbox design with three curved links.

Measures about 3 1/8" long including the bale and 7/8" across.

Marked with the Anvil, and 925S and Finland on the back. Also looks like there is a stamp 'S1B' which we don't know the reference to. Has some very minor surface scratches. Has a larger bale so could be worn on a chain or neck ring.

An outstanding vintage modernist sterling silver necklace and earrings by studio jeweler, Fridl Blumenthal. Signed with her Tulip mark on the necklace and FRIDL, Sterling, Tulip, and the number 32 on each earring. The findings on the earrings are also marked sterling. Heavy sterling silver with sterling overlay on niello. Necklace measures approximately 14" around and the 'pendant' is 1" wide. Earrings measure 1 1/4" long and 3/4" across. A rare early, large figural sterling silver pendant by Sam Kramer. Looks like an abstract man, maybe even a pirate. Measures 3 3/4" long and 2 3/4" wide. Signed with an impressed mushroom on the front of his leg. Heavy and substantial. Fine example of his work.

A stand out modernist sterling silver Neck Ring from Finland designed by Pekka Piekainen for Auran Kultaseppa, Oy. He was the head jewelry designer for the company from 1971-89 and had won many prestigious awards.

Marked on the back for Kultaseppa, Finland silver standard, 925H, Town mark for Turku, and T7 for the date code 1972.

Measures 12" around with an opening of 2 3/4". Meant to sit on the collar bone. Measures 1 1/4" wide at the ends.
