Antique Korean porcelain bottle of an octagonal faceted form, with long neck fluting slightly at the rim, covered in a translucent crackle white celadon glaze. The foot is deeply recessed with buff edges.

Antique Chinese pair of Large Shiwan ware goddess statues. These wares originated out of kilns in the Shiwanzhen subdistrict within the city of Foshan, going as far back as the Neolithic period. Each goddess mirrors the form of the other, holding a large vase above their heads, on a cloud pedestal with a small deer at their sides as a symbol of longevity. Each statue is pigmented with deep navy blue, robin's egg blue, beige, and white underglazes with some areas left bare.

Important Tang Dynasty (AD 618-907) sutra container from a San Francisco dealer who has been in business for over 40 years. This sutra container came to us as part of a group which belonged to the Avery Brundage Collection. There is a remnant of an old Brundage collector’s seal on the outside rim of the container as seen in the photographs.

Antique Chinese scroll painting, with Daoist monks, monkeys, and deer underneath a gnarled peach tree. A young Daoist monk holding a bamboo staff outstretches his arms as a helpful monkey drops peaches to him, while an immortal man rests calmly against a tree branch, observing two small deer. A very large pair of hardwood transom / temple architectural elements, elaborately carved with charming motifs of squirrels eating from grape vines. The carvings are deeply recessed with raised outside edges of a scrolling form. Realistic grape vines and leaves continue along the underside of each transom. Very heavy. Dehua porcelain, more traditionally known in the west as Blanc de Chine, is a type of white Chinese porcelain, made at Dehua in the Fujian Province. It as been produced from the Ming Dynasty to the present day.

Rare Japanese gyosho kannon bako. Constructed of Kiri wood with original red lacquer finish. The piece is fitted with hand-forged iron plates and mounts. The front of the chest holds 3 small drawers in its lower section, with a pair of large doors above. The interior of the chest has a large open compartment with a long drawer long the top. The sides are fitted with iron rings and handles with a long cord so the piece may be carried on a merchant's back.

Museum grade very large Japanese Ginbari enamel vase. Ginbari is a technique using a foil design made with an embossing plate. The vase has a robin's egg blue enamel ground comprised of small flowers, with Wisteria branches bearing pastel green and purple flowers, small birds perched and flying through the tree branches. Antique Chinese pair of hand-carved boxwood scholar's scroll weights. With mirrored imagery of a fisherman in a boat catching a fish, landscape scenes with pine trees and groves of bamboo.

Antique Chinese guan pi xiang (document box), made of huanghuali hardwood and finely cut brass plate mounts and hinges. The top opens and is held in place by a small chain. The doors open to reveal 7 drawers of different sizes. Each drawer has been fitted with jewelry tray inserts covered in white raw silk.
