Chinese white jade rollicking horse animatedly carved with nostrils flaring and lying on back with hooves up in air. Size: 3 inches long 1.5" high.

This is an exceptionally well carved authentic neolithic jade axe, or possibly an amulet, considering its size. The piece measures some 5-3/4" in length (14.5cm)and is just over 2" at the highest point. The stone is a grayish-green nephrite with some calcification. The "blade" is unsharpened, although polished to a tapering edge from both sides of the piece. The three holes were formed by a conical drill from one side only. This piece is guaranteed to be archaic to the original purchaser.

The small jade carving is 2” long, 1 ¼” wide and 1” thick. It is a late 19th century product. It depicts a smiling fisherman. On one hand, he is holding his long beard; in the other he is holding a string of Ling Zhi (lucky mushrooms). A turtle and a fish appear on the fisherman’s back carved from dark brown part of the stone. It is in excellent condition.

Small iron in cast bronze, relief decoration in the traditional archaic style, exceptionally part of the handle is in jadeite. Usually these irons are simply made of bronze because they were utilitarian objects, which is why it is curious that this one has this precious contribution. The tip fits perfectly and seems to be well 'origin. It must be an iron used in an important family. Small hard stone vase, probably jadeite. Pale green color spotted with white and bright green with brown veins. The polish of the stone is rather matte than shiny. Finely carved hardwood base. Chinese work 19° or early 20° century. The dull polish of the stone would lead us to date it to the end of the Qing or earlier. A Very Fine Chinese Grey Mottled White Jade Ruyi Sceptre: China, 19th 18th –early 19th century This grey white nephrite jade Ruyi Sceptre finely carved and well polished, it skillfully worked in high relief with a pierced and carved in the form of an old and curved plum stem with its flowers and Lingzhi fungus, a monkey playing on the plum branches, russet dark grey tinges on some areas. It is in very fine condition without any damages, and measures 14cm x 4.7cm w.
