This rare Ming Dynasty (1368 ~ 1615) green, brown and yellow burial sedan chair is 12 inches high, 4 ½” wide and 3 ¾ inches deep. Two curved parts on the roof have been reattached. It is quite possible that the top of the roof is an old replacement.

A Han Dynasty terra cotta horse head with a very animated expression. There are some traces of red pigmentation on the straps of the horse head.

The horse head has abrasion , wear and tear due to the long period of burial. Otherwise it is in good condition.

An extremely beautiful and a museum quality Han dynasty ear cup or erbei. The ear cup is make of red pottery and it is rare to find them in such pristine condition. The ear cup are used as burial object to accompany the dead for their after-live used.

Small phosphatic glazed earthenware jar with double handles. Reddish brown clay covered with dull black glaze with several mottled white glaze splashes. Jun-type pottery as made in the Tang dynasty, China, 19th century or earlier.
Height 5 ¾ inches (14.9 cm).
Black glaze dull, showing water streaks, one chip on back of one of the loop handles, some dirt residue. Otherwise good condition.

Syllabub or custard cup (or pot de crème) in the shape of a bud or a fruit within relief moulded, stylized scale leaves. The lid modelled as a small Mandarin cap. Decorated with European style flowers and gilt borders. Late Qianlong. Cf Swedish publications Gyllenswärd (1977) p. 133 and Wirgin (1998) p. 19, where the same border is depicted and dated to 1784, ordered for the Swedish King. The border closest to the knob of the lid has a neoclassical, "fasces" motif...

This is a Han dynasty funerary pottery tripod censer of grey colour, painted with pigment. There are traces of red and white colour pigment on the body as well as on the edge. The tripod censer stands on three short pediform feet. The holes above the body and the raising of the three feet suggests that it may have been used as an incense burner...
