A large beautiful and rare pair of colorfully glazed peacocks which were Vietnamese temple birds. The glaze is still vibrant and the sculpturing is very finely executed. Age: Mid 19th century.

This is one of the earliest and rarest original types of vases made in Vietnam. It has a rich chocolate brown glaze with beautiful drippings going down to the base. This style of jar has been copied in later times in China and Southeast Asia. Size: H. 64.8cm W. 40cm.

A beautiful antique Annamese Vietnamese jar with a clear ivory glaze. On the shoulder are 4 applied rosettes between 2 raised lines. Vertical lines extend from the rosettes to the unglazed base. The jar has a short neck and rolled rim. Some imperfections. Annamese refers to Vietnamese porcelain, since Annam was the name of the southernmost province of China after the Tang dynasty. The name is the Vietnamese form of the Chinese name "the Pacified South"...
A rare Vietnamese ewer /water dropper decorated with blue and white two duck and duck head as the spout. Body of the ewer is in good condition with has degradations glaze. The big head and the top has been restorations ( please see on the last picture). The smaller head in good conditions. 14cm body diameter. 17,5cm wide. 12,5cm high.
Sawankhalok kiln was located in the middle Thailand in 14~15th century and famous for fine celadon works.
This bowl is a large size piece with stem, carved flowers with beautiful green celadon glaze.

Glazed stoneware lime pot. Relief decoration, glued to the slip representing a dragon, a phoenix and Buddhist emblems covered with thick blue, brown and cream enamels. Vietnamese work from the 19th century or before. Some applied elements have peeled off and the enamel has chipped in places over time as can be seen in the photos. Rare ceramic of good quality.
