The peak of the oil lamp features a figure that appears to be the head of a bird. The lamp measures 3.75" in length and 1.5" tall. 2nd - 1st Century B.C. Ex-McInnis collection.

Attention-getting Japanese paper mache demon face mask. Has a devious grin, large bulbous nose, with fanged gold teeth. Face is black with red and gold highlights, making features stand out and gives an amusing yet intriguing look. Contains holes in ears of mask with cloth netting running behind face. Paper inscription on back is a description of this unique character.

This is a wonderful cabinet vase by Gonda. This vase is not signed but Gonda was the master of this style of cloisonne. These wireless iris vases are not only highly desirable, but are also not easy to come by. The vase measures 3 3/4 inches tall. Condition is excellent.
Antique Japanese bronze vase with a rectangular form, a raised horizontal line running along its very middle with the image of a taotie motif (jawless face/ogre). It has long, slender side handles curling at the bottom and forming into a face at its very top and its neck and base are fluted outwards. Meiji period (1868-1912)

This unique and stylish bronze vase has a beautiful shape. Two charming elephant trunks extend from the neck of vase on either side with a floral, geometric background. Near base, Japanese Taotie, ogre-like characters, and curvy designs spread around the vase, adding intriguing detail. Vase also includes a copper inset that can be removed.

This beautiful elegant lotus is perched on curled stems that make up the lotus's stand. A small bud is tucked underneath, resting upward against the flower. A beautiful symbol, most often in Buddhism, represents enlightenment of the soul. Can hold small trinkets.

A white porcelain bowl with under glaze incised (anhua) decoration depicting two dragons amongst stylized clouds and flames. On the base, in underglaze blue, is the six character reign mark of the Guangxu Emperor (1875-1908).
Condition: there is a small shallow 0.5cm chip to the inside of the rim and much of the over glaze silver decoration is worn away...
Antique Japanese iron tsuba or hand guard for a sword, in a mokko or melon shape, decorated with motifs of thin tree branches with plums and blossoms, with silver and Shokudo inlay, and an engraved sun in the top corner. The backside has a small cluster of plums inlaid with silver.

Antique monochrome bowl with a beautiful deep peach bloom glaze and a clear over glaze. Inside this porcelain bowl is light bluish- white coloring. Bottom of bowl models a round foot. Edges of the bowl shows are the blue-white as well. From the 18th-19th century.
