Small porcelain Vietnamese shipwreck recovery water dropper in the shape of an elephant. The glaze has dissolved after so long under the water but the body is intact. This is most likely from the Cau Ma shipwreck, circa 1775, discovered off the coast of Vietnam. No chips or damage. L: 6.2cm/3.2in and H: 5cm/2in.

This is a freely painted swatow dish with a pair of mandarin duck and flower spray in the centre of the dish, with tendrils around the shallow cavetto and flowers in cartouches on the rim with diaper boarders. The glaze is opaque, thick, and covers the body and foot. There are sand grits around and inside the base of the foot rim. Cir. Late Ming dynasty, 17th century.

There is no hairline crack, glaze fritting, chip, repair or restoration...

One from a pair of Guan Jar with completed cover, decorated with a pair of Dragons chasing flaming pearl, base glazed and with six character mark of 'Da Ming Jia Jing Nien Zhe' and of the period. This way of mark write is right one as well, but it's near and predictable as early Jiajing if compare with 'Zhengde' mark and change to be another characters on the middle and later Jiajing till Longqing and Wanli period. Fine and rare roof ridge tile figure group consisting of a horse and groom made during the Ming Dynasty (AD 1368 - 1644). Condition - unusually very good - age related wear to glazes and minor chipping (please see enlargement 8 for most noticable chip) but no significant losses and no restoration...

A late Ming 17th century b/w Kraak style dish, with main decorated of a sitting figure in the scenery or so called 'Sansui'. Condition is very good except an area with glaze degradation, but no any crack and free from any restoration. Late Ming period with diameter: 20.6cm.

This bowl is painted overall with a floral design in orange, green, and yellow enamels with black enamel outlines. The interior rim is decorated with a similar motif, and a single flower is painted on the interior base. The foot is encircled with double lines in underglaze cobalt blue and an underglaze cobalt blue design is painted on the base...

An late renaissance or baroque period Iron Padlock, European, ca. 16th.-17th. century.

Cast and wrought lock. Very beautiful with an arched moveable part and a keyhole at one end. The lock was cobber braized or plated in the renaissance manor and much cobber can still be spotted in parts of the surface (see pictures).
