Chinese porcelain blue and white cup, shaped in resemblance to a Tibetan butter lamp. Adorned with bold and complex designs of lotuses, scrolling vines, and eight Sanskrit characters along the outer sides. This bowl was wheel-formed and then pressed into a mold while still soft to create an octagonal form. The soft stoneware clay was then carved and impressed with a stylized chrysanthemum design, allowed to dry, and then covered with a slip of white liquid clay which filled the incising. The residue was wiped or carved off leaving the crisp design in white against the darker clay...

19th century Chinese soap stone sculpture. A reclining Lo-Han is petting a lion cub. The thin man has a curly beard, one foot bare, the other wearing a sandal; his robe is open to expose his bare chest with ribs showing. Carved black wood base. The sculpture has some minor flaws due to age. H: 9 ½ inches, W: 6 inches

A Ming dynasty 15th century Zhengde blue and white meiping, rounded side with spreading neck and flares stepped edge foot, base is unglazed, decorated with under glaze blue of flower scroll motif at the body, shoulder with lotus spray motif in four radiating panel.
Meiping is in very good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration, very good piece for any collector.

A very rare Yuan dynasty qingbai glaze large phoenix yuhuchun vase, rounded side with pear shape and unglazed base, vase decorated with large phoenix motif at the belly, covered with good bluish white qingbai glaze, found from trowulan east java.

A rare very well carved soapstone sculpture of Lui Hai in traditional pose ensnaring the three -legged toad with a string of cash. This item was made circa 1750 - 1800 during the reigns of either the Qianlong or the Jaiqing Emperors. The tip of one finger is missing and there is an old glued repair - most visible on the upper foot. Little of the original paintwork is now visible. Height - 7.5 inches (19cm)...
