The quality of the carving is one of the best from its period (probably late 19th century) and is in excellent condition – some chips and minor hair lines. It was converted into a lamp sometime later. It works perfectly as a lamp, although there is one area taped (with black tape) on the cord...

Splendid Chinese lacquered stand with inlaid views of scholarly figures within a view of a pavilion. Two legged stand with mosaic-like inlay done with maroon colored lacquer. Bottom section has linen cloth covering used for the base for lacquered pieces. Age: 19th century. Size: Length: 13.75" Width: 9.25" Height: 16.1"

This peach shape 19th century cinnabar box is 4 inches high and 8 inches wide. The carved scene depicts one person riding a horse and two other people on foot in the foreground. The background is composed of pine trees, brush and rocks. The sides are decorated with a textile pattern. There are a few old repairs and some chips on the bottom. It is still in pretty good condition.

It is 11.5 inches (29.2 cm) tall by 5.25 inches (13.4 cm) wide.

It is in good condition with no repairs or cracks, except small chips at the lady's stick and at the side of the vase (as seen in the photos).

It is 2.5 inches (6.4 cm) tall by 4.3 inches (11 cm) wide.

It is in good condition with no chips, except small crack, re-lacquered at the inside and bottom, repaired at the inner rim and a small spot of melting at the back side of the lid (as seen in the photos).

Writing box in lacquer imitating an ink stone. Fun and very rare item. The box in the shape of a gourd with its stem, its leaves and its flower, it is in green, brown and golden brown lacquered wood. The interior has a small receptacle representing a red gourd. The details are of high quality as can be admired on the perfect execution of the leaves. A beautifully carved cinnabar round box depicting a sage and his attendant walking under a pine tree in a waterfront scene. We date this box to mid-Qing Dynasty, 18th century. The box is in very good antique condition, with some expected minor loses and small chips, parts of the rims are retouched. Lid is carved with a scene of two elderly sages in a rocky landscape with trees and a bridge. The sides are carved overall with a diamond pattern. The interior and base are lacquered black. Some minor age cracks and retouched chips to the interior rim, minor retouching of red lacquer to the rims of the lid and box bottom. General wear—all consistent with and indicative of its age.

A good lacquered bamboo brushpot (Bitong),depicting Shou xing and a deer, delicately painted in a style more commonly seen on large gilt decorated blue glazed vases that are attributed to the late Qianlong/Jiaqing reigns . The inscription reads : "Imitated at (?) Tai Zhengya's Calligraphy Studio of Elegant Living, for his comments". Condition is good - one age related crack and a little wear to the gilding...

The deep red lacquer is thickly applied to a wooden base and carved in high relief. The slightly domed lid is carved with a garden scene consisting of pavilions and scholars in a landscape of thick foliage, trees, various rocks and a small bridge. The sides of the box are carved all around with a repeating floral design and the base is carved overall with diamond shaped florets...
