A large, very well and thinly potted bowl. The exterior of the steep rounded sides finely incised with two striding five-clawed dragons in mutual pursuit of flaming pearls, and enamelled in yellow, aubergine, black and shades of green with three different kind of large fruit branches...

A good Yuan dynasty qingbai bluish white glaze dragon handled ewer with cover, pear shape body with raising up spout and dragon shape handle, ewer covered with bluish white glaze, found in east java. ewer is in good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration, very rare to find similar dragon ewer in this good condition. A large "Kangxi revival" Guangxu blue and white jar, with typical late Qing glaze, painting style, and paste; featuring eleven beauties engaged in activities of intellectual refinement.

A large circular tureen and cover painted in underglaze blue depicting peonies, willow trees and rockwork in a garden setting. This item was made in China circa 1750, during the reign of the Qianlong Emperor, for export to Europe. Condition - there are minor losses. Two leaves on the pomegranate finial are chipped and an ear is missing from one of the boar's head handles. There are chips to the inside of the cover and there is a light hairline to the base...

From our Chinese Blue and White Collection, a very fine Kangxi Period (1662-1722) porcelain plate with flower basket motif, the border executed with cash diaper design interspersed with four vignettes of floral sprigs. This piece is export ware but still arguably "Chinese taste" given the understated elegance and restraint from over-decoration...

A wedding plate finely painted with "famille rose" enamels against a pale green 'celadon' ground. The border is richly decorated with lotus, peony flowers, birds, insects, good luck symbols and auspicious objects. This item was made in China for export during the reign of either the Jiaqing or Daoguang emperors - probably circa 1800-1830.)Condition - there is a chip and associated 0.5 cm hairline to the rim and there is minor wear to the enamels...

Interior of dish is decorated with multi-colored overglaze enamels in a pattern known as “thousand flowers” in the West. Most of the various blossoms are painted in thick white enamel which is then shaded with different colors of enamel glaze. Space between the flowers is filled with gold enamel. The reverse is enameled with a design of three flower sprays. A six-character Guangxu mark is painted on the base in red enamel...
