A Yaozhou covered jar was in fantastic look.
It was well carved with floral motifs on the surface.
In characteristically yellowish green tint of the glaze, the ware was revealed with the also characteristic beige body clay.
Obvious incursions were happened to the glaze in foggy look.
One manufacturing defect was found at the foot ring.
Otherwise, it was in perfect condition without any restorations,.

This is one of the most well painted Kangxi "flower basket" plates I've seen, in an excellent shade of Kangxi cobalt blue. Please compare with a similar "flower basket" plate in the British Museum (Franks.221).
