A very rare scroll weight resp. paper weight made from glass and painted with a very pleasing romantic landscape . This painting is done in a typical Qianlong manner on a opaque white glaze and is covered with a thick layer of transparent glaze. Qianlong Period ( 1736 - 1795 ) On the back side of the piece is something like a very small signature which can be seen on the last enlargement. L : 17,5 cm. B : 3,3 cm. H : 1,2 cm. Condition : Perfect.

A copy of the Japanese Arita C1700 dishes decorated with a version of the design by the Dutch Delft decorator Frederik Van Frytom. The English Bow factory also copied this design in the mid 18thC. A rare ovoid vase on high flaring foot painted in shades of underglaze blue and made in China for export to Europe during the reign of the Kangxi emperor (1662-1722). Condition: there is "fritting" (production glaze loss) to the base (please view enlargements) and there are very minor glaze imperfections; there are no cracks and there has been no restoration. 14.5cm (5.7inches) high.

Chinese Canton Enamel Small Plate decorated with a stylised Lotus scroll. The reverse with fruit and flowers. Gilt rim and foot. 18thC. Dia. 7 1/4" (18.5cm). Condition: usual stress lines, small chip 0.5cm to rim, slight wear to gilding.

Pair of Rare Famille Rose plates attractively decorated with Twin Boys. C1735/45. Dia.8 3/4" (22.3cm). Condition: first plate with some flaking to enamels and 0.35cm shallow flake to underside of rim. Second plate with 3.2 cm hairline crack to rim and 0.5cm bruise to underside of rim.

The body of the bowl is covered with a thick greenish-creamy-grey glaze whose surface appears like old polished marble. The crackles in the glaze are very attractive. Most probably Ming Dynasty, sixteenth century or earlier. Diameter : 14,6 cm. H : 7,2 cm. Condition : Perfect.

A rare early Ming 15th century Xuande - Interregnum period blue and white large stem bowl, outer wall with under glaze blue human (official) and landscape motif, inner center with sitting official motif, good condition with small damage at the rim and associate hairline restored, size: 16.5 cm diameter, 10 cm height.

A Very Fine Chinese Celadon Glaze Open Cup-Stand-15th C.: China, late Yuan or early Ming dynasty, 15th -16th century. The Shallow wide cup encircled by a f;aromg colla upturned at the rim, resting on a splayed thick foot, applied overall thick green celadon glaze evenly, the foot rim unglazed showing the grey body burnt orange-brown in the firing. It’s in very fine condition without any damages at all, it measures 5.6cm x 16.5cm d.

The Famille Rose decoration on this large tray is absolutely breathtaking. A Yaozhou lotus-bud bowl was in fine look.
It was well decorated on the surface with carved floral motifs.
The surface was spread with minute incursions which were caused by time.
Looking inside, the body clay was revealed with brownish tint which was an obvious characteristic of oxidation from time.
