A excellently potted porcelain bowl. The exterior decorated with five circular medallions encircling the recessed base. Six - character Yongzheng mark in underglaze blue within a double circle and probably of the period. Diameter : 9,5 cm. H : 3,4 cm. Condition : Perfect.

A Yuan dynasty longquan celadon large deep bowl, rounded side with deep center and unglazed base, bowl covered with good green glaze, good condition no damage, minor crackled at glaze surface, tiny glaze fritt at inner rim, no chip no crack no restoration, high ping sound with finger tip, size: 20 cm diameter.

Chinese late Qing dynasty Guangxu period famille rose porcelain bowl, covered on the exterior in a dense mille fleurs pattern set against a gold background. The base holds an apocryphal six-character iron red “Great Qing Qianlong Year Made” mark. Late 19th century. 4 7/8” diameter x 2 1/4” high. Very good overall condition with no chips or cracks. There is some wear to the overglaze gilt background. This bowl is from a Tucson, Arizona collection.

Pair Chinese mandarin squares indicating civil rank. The badges embroidered with colored silk and gold thread to a single piece of uncut fabric. Fair to good condition. Total length of the uncut panel 16 1/8 inches (41 cm). Total width 8 1/16 inches (20.48 cm)

Pair kesi badges without rank insignia. With background only, we assume this must either mean it was for a student candidate not yet with rank or perhaps awaiting the addition of rank insignia (if it was appropriate to embroider or stitch onto a kesi badge.) We have included photos of the front and of the back with lining lifted to reveal the kesi technique including varied gold metallic thread. Condition is fair to good...

We offer from our private exhibition a Tibeto-Chinese large and heavy gilt bronze four faced Amitayus Buddha from the late Qing Dynasty ( 1644 - 1912 ).

The Amitayus ( Bodhisattva of Longevity ) is seated on double-lotus throne in dhyanasana and with both hands in dhyanamudra.

The statue is 17,1 inches high and 7,5kg heavy!

It is marked and in great condition.

A Guangxu mark and period plate, decorated with orchids in famille rose enamels, and a ruyi medallion border. While late Qing famille rose wares tend to be more gaudy and flashy, this particular displays surprising restraint in its design.

A large Ming Dynasty porcelain dish decorated with floral scrolls in underglaze cobalt blue. Pieces of this kind were found at the LENA SHOAL JUNK. Such pieces are also to find in the Topkapi Museum and in some other excellent collections. Ming Dynasty, late 15th. to the early 16th. century. Diameter : 32,2 cm. Condition : Perfect !
