Fine and well balance potted celadon tea-bowl with small foot, covered over all with olive green glazed. Southern Song Dynasty Longquan ware. A gourd is grown inside a carved wooden form to create a patterned body. The lid is wood with carved horn. The cricket cage is dated to late 19th century. It is 6 1/4" long and 2 3/4" wide. It is in good condition.

The nine-dragon design on this charger is after a Xuande prototype, where dishes were painted with a side-facing five-clawed dragon amongst crashing waves in the centre, the cavetto decorated with four dragons hunting the golden ball. Condition: The plate has a restored area and one glaze hairline in the centre (see pictures). Measurement: Diameter 15.5 cm = 6.1 inch

Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty 19th century Chinese woman's silk robe embroidered with four season flowers & butterflies on a smooth heavy weight mid-night blue silk ground, sleeves bands and trims are embroidered with flowers and butterflies; inside backed with light blue silk damask lining. The robe is in very good condition, lots of bright embroideries. Very minor loss to embroideries, minor wear to the trims on the bottom, lightly soiled on blue lining around the neck area...

Beautiful, very long Chinese strand necklace primarily made from rock crystal quartz beads, with three large jasper beads, two green jadeite beads on either side of each jasper bead. Towards the bottom are three gold thread strands with turquoise beads, a small jasper bead above a smoky quartz drop, secured in place by blue, green, and orange cloisonne holder...

Chinese jade pair of horses with a monkey riding one the back of one of the horses. The imagery used on this Chinese carving can be derived from the noted legend of Journey to the West, where the monkey king is assigned by the Jade Emperor to oversee the heavenly stables, but does mischief in the end. Horses in East Asia represent swiftness and the monkey representing representing foolishness yet with the ability to learn its lesson. Age: 20th century. Size: height 4.25" width 5.5" length 6.5"

A Chinese polychrome cloisonne covered box. The flowers and stylized character decoration in cloisonne, raised above a textured, patinated background which was not enameled. A thin gold wash remaining on the foot rim surface and evident on the cloisons surfaces. The work, patina and the slightly pitted enamels indicative of 19th century work. Condition is fair to good with a few small dents to top which don't visually detract from presentation...
