Chinese Rose Verte Yanyan Vase. Decorated with panels of birds among flowers and rocks, kingfisher, lotus, lion dogs and figures in a landscape. On a powder blue ground. Base with a four character Kangxi mark. 19thC. Height 18 11/4" (46.4cm). Condition; neck leans slightly and firing fault inside rim. Glaze frits to edge of base. No cracks, chips or restoration.

Depicting the casual scene of a court lady reading a scroll under a pine tree while a attendant boy hidden behind the trunk reaching his head out by curiosity, the craftsman maneuvered his fine and affluent carving skill to make the picture as much detailed and pleasant as well.
The cylinder was carved in deep relief and was pierced through in some portions to allow the incense smoke to swirl out.

Now wired as a lamp, this vase is glazed in variegated oxblood that has been applied to produce a flambe-like pattern against an even copper-red background. The interior, which is partly revealed at the mouth, drains to white. It is mounted to a traditional Chinese carved wood base and wired for electricity. It is in overall good condition with no repairs or restorations.

This middle 19th century pale green with red over glaze brush washer has icy crackles covering the entire body. There are a few chips on the bottom from firing. It is 4 inches in diameter and 1 ¼ inches high. Very good condition.

A rare mirror black "famille noire" enamelled jar and cover depicting two birds perched on a branch of iron red flowering prunus blossom over green enamelled rockwork. An interesting late Kangxi period famille verte export plate, marked with a ding censer to the base in underglaze blue, and decorated in to front in a style reminiscent of Kakiemon porcelain from the same period.

A Yuan dynasty longuan celadon stemcup, rounded side with high foot globular body and everted rim, inner center stemcup decorated with flower motif, stemcup covered with good bluish green celadon glaze.
Stemcup is in good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration, there is some crackled at glaze surface, one crackled glaze goes to the rim good ping sound with the finger tip indicate there is no crack on the body.

19th century Chinese soap stone sculpture. A reclining Lo-Han is petting a lion cub. The thin man has a curly beard, one foot bare, the other wearing a sandal; his robe is open to expose his bare chest with ribs showing. Carved black wood base. This late 19th century Chinese famille-rose water jar is 2 ¾ inches tall and 2 ¾ inches wide. It depicts five boys in a procession. The first two boys are holding banners and gongs. The third is holding a lantern. The forth child is dressed in red and is riding a Qilin (a Chinese legendary animal which has a dragon head and ox body). This boy carries a puppet. The last boy is holding a fancy umbrella. The workmanship is excellent and it is in great condition.
