Belt hook, or fibula, made of glass, with a finely detailed decoration in relief, largely influenced by the Warring States Period style, and representing, from top to bottom, first a large dragon head, then two chimeras side by side, then, at the end, a large tiger head. Chinese porcelain underglaze Iron Red and Blue Horse decorated Vase, before 1920's, marked six Chinese character "Kangxi" on the bottom, 4 1/4" high, 3 1/4" widest part of the vase, 1" diameter-top rim, 1 1/2" diameter-bottom rim, three(3) iron red and blue horses are looking towards same direction beside the rock and willow trees. A celadon ewer or water dropper was intriguingly mold as chicken pot.
By cute-looking spout and simple-form wings, the porcelain pot was applied with glass-sheen glaze all over the surface.
On the unglazed bottom, the dense-feel clay was revealed and was with adhesives of burial earth.
Crackles and abrasions were resulted from incursions too.
It was kept in very fine condition...

The stand and bowl of this vessel were cast separately and permanently joined at the time of production. The lid is topped with a lingzhi fungus. A rare miniature figure of Avalokitesvara (Buddha) (God of Compassion) on a plinth. The head is surrounded by a halo. The figure was originally gilded and traces of the gold still remain. The features have been worn from age. Has a nice patina.

This early 20th century Chinese jade (nephrite) carving of three goats is 3” high, 4 ¼” long and 1 ¾” in depth. It depicts three long horned goats climbing on a mountain surrounded by pine trees. This is a very popular image called “San Yang Kai Tai”. The I-Ching (Book of Changes) goes to great lengths to describe “Yin” and “Yang”. “Yin” is represented by the moon (female or negative); it is the opposite of “Yang” (male or positive) which is represented by the sun....

Decorated in a wu cai palette of overglaze enamels. There is some wear to the enamels from long use, but overall in good condition. The stand and lid are from the late 19th Century / early 20th Century. Purchased in Japan in the 1970s, where it had been used for the tea ceremony as a container for powdered green tea.

A Suanzi wood scholar tray was in rectangular form.
Decently preserved in nice patina, the wood tray was found on the reverse side with inscription attributed to an official of Japanese occupation district in China during World War Two.
During that periods, the Japanese invasion troops undertook the task of finding Chinese antiques back to Japan.
The tray was sent as a gift in great respect due to the excellent craftsmanship on the carving of the inscription.
