Japanese early 20th century cloisonne vase by the Tamura Cloisonne Company. The blue colored vase has a large and beautiful yellow rose blossom. the silver toned metal rims appear to be chrome. The vase measures 9 7/8" tall and 6" in diameter. The vase comes with TOMOBAKO, the original artist signed wooden storage box.
This is a very fine unsigned Japanese cloisonne vase with a unique form. The enamel and wire work are exquisite. It is not signed but the quality is so good and so unique that the maker is Hayashi. Look at the last image of a signed 3 3/4 inch vase and compare them. The work on this vase is not only similar, the gold wire birds, unique spider mums and leaves on this vase are even smaller in size...
18” high Japanese Meiji period cloisonne vase featuring a pheasant and dove among maples leaves and flowers set against a pale blue background. The neck is decorated in a dense butterfly and floral pattern highlighted with goldstone. Blue counter enamel to the interior mouth and base. Copper substrate, base, and rims. Very elegant pair of Japanese cloisonne vases in the style of Hayashi. Dark midnight baby blue with sparrows flying amidst bamboo, with chrysanthemum flowers in exquisite detail, Top and bottom rims with special lapid in beautiful hues of orange, purples and greens. Japanese cloisonné bottle form lidded vase on a Satsuma earthenware substrate with "kidney bean" cloisons decorated on the body with three cartouches (a five-petal flower, a kidney bean, and a fan) all filled with leafy flowers and set against a blue ground. Alternating triangle forms, each holding a single flower, encircle the shoulder and mouth. The neck holds scattered flowers on a tan ground. The lid is decorated with a flowers. Here is a beautiful but unsigned Namikawa Sosuke vase. Those familiar with Sosuke's work, will know this vase was made by the master and is authentic. It's a stoutly made piece with silver rims. It stands 6 1/4 inches tall. This vase is in excellent condition. I have also provided an image of a later made, but very similar signed Sosuke vase.
