A porcelain bowl painted with over glaze "famille rose" enamels depicting a flowering peony shrub issuing from a stylized blue rock. This item was made in China for export to Europe during the second quarter of the 18th Century.

A rare Ming dynasty 15th century blue and white twin mandarin duck ewer, mandarin duck shape with raising head and unglazed base, ewer decorated with under glaze blue of duck detailed, very rare with one of the duck head rested on the body.
Ewer is in good condition with small restoration on the duck mouth, no crack, very rare duck shape.

Rare Japanese Tansu made of inlaid woods with lacquer panels. Beautifully inlaid with wood in designs of fans and japanese symbols. The inside has black with gold landscape scenes. The drawers are black with copper colored design. The doors have scenes with chickens and a rooster. Outfitted with brass hardware. It measures 13" deep 23" wide 21" tall. Late Meiji period, circa 1910.

Wonderful porcelain jar, decorated in blue and white. Typical wanli pattern of swastikas on the shoulder, the rest of the jar decorated with gardens and two flying cranes, China, Wanli (1573-1620). Condition: two hairline cracks on the mouth rim, one of them with an almost invisible related crack on the shoulder. Dimensions: H. 17,5 cm, Diameter 17 cm.

A very finely potted and finely painted blue and white vase depicting three five-clawed dragons, amongst cloud scrolls, in pursuit of flaming pearls and above stylized breaking waves. The base carries the six character seal mark of the Qianlong emperor (1736-1795) but, after three years deliberation, we have come to the conclusion that this item was probably made later, circa 1880-1920, during the late Qing or early Republic periods...
Good shards sample of Yuan blue and white large ewer, shards is decorated with under glase blue of rare tree friends of winter motif, there is good sample drawing of flower motif. these shards is very good for studying and comparison for any one who interested in studying early Chinese porcelain, newly excavated from east java.
