From our Japanese Collection, a good Meiji Period (1868-1912) imari lobed dish, executed in traditional palette using iron red, orange, blue, green, and gilt on a white porcelain body, depicting a stylized chrysanthemum head motif in the center well, along with dragon, phoenix, and floral motifs in the border reserves. An unpretentious but well-made traditional example.

A rare Song - Yuan dynasty Qingbai white glaze large dragon ewer / pouring vessel (Kendi), rounded side with raising up spout and open wide rim, globular body and unglazed base, pouring vessel decorated with large dragon motif chasing flaming pearl on the body, pouring vessel covered with white Qingbai glaze.
Ewer is in good condition with crack line near the spout no chip, no restoration, very rare to find similar pouring vessel with clear dragon motif.

Chinese Gilt Cloisonne Elephant Censer, 19th Century

It is 17.25 inches (43.7 cm) tall with stand and 16.1 inches (41 cm) tall without stand by 13 inches (33 cm) wide. It is 4.9 Lb.

It is in good condition with no chips, cracks, or dents, except small bruises at the side and repaired enamel at the small vase (as seen in the photos).

A Chinese bronze bell with double-dragon handle above ruyi-shaped clouds and with bands of carved decoration including flowering branches,bamboo,crabs and a phoenix above a lower band of stylized rocks and waves. Unusually for a Chinese Qing dynasty piece, the bell is made from copper/tin alloy bronze. We think that this item was probably made during the first half of the 19th Century, cica 1820-1850. Condition - excellent with good patination. Dimensions - 19cm (7.5inches) high...
