Unusual 18th/19th century small votive Indian bronze sculpture of Nandi - the vehicle of Shiva, or sometimes considered to be a form of Shiva himself. It rests in its usual position wearing rich trappings surrounded by numerous offerings. Very neat casting and detailing, great patina, compressed dust in crevices and traces of sandalwood paste used during worship, bottom is covered with red paste. Very good devotional object, wonderful feel of age to the piece. Length 1 3/8 inches.

A beautiful and rare excavated 17th Century Burmese Bronze Ganesh holding 4 objects in his hands and with a cobra snake hanging from his right shoulder and encircling his torso and back. The Ganesha is wearing a beautifully adorned garment around his waist. Naturally formed patina and some soil remnants are present. Excellent condition as well preserved in the earth cache. A bag made of deer skin with indigo dye hemp rope. It was used for coins which were distributed among citizens in Edo period. Paper moneys were issued later, in Meiji period (1868~1912). The first half of the 19th century. 26cm x 62cm

A stunning framed Indonesian tapis, known as a woman's ceremonial skirt. Hand-woven with striped and chevron pattern detail seen expanding of each consecutive row. Warp ikat, supplementary weft weave and embroidery with fine hand spun silk thread, along with gold thread and mica chip composition.

Japanese bronze incenser in the form of Hotei, one of the Seven Lucky Gods of Fortune. Hotei is clothed with open robes, holding a gunbai fan, seated on top of his large sack. Hotei's name literally means "Cloth Sack", for he can be attributed by the large cloth sack he carries with him during his travels...

The carved overlay glass snuff bottle is an early 20th century product. The red over clear glass snuff bottle is 2 ¾” high, 1 5/8” wide and 3/4” thick. Both sides have the same design which depicts a blossom tree. It has a light carnelian cap which is a later replacement. It is in great condition.

This very well carved overlay glass snuff bottle is a late 19th century product. The pink over black glass snuff bottle is 3 1/2" high, 1 5/8" wide and 1" thick. It depicts 8 Buddhist symbols of good fortune around the bottle. Those 8 Buddhist symbols are Lotus Flower, Dharma Wheel, Umbrella, Fish, Conch Shell, Victory Banner, Vase and Endless Knot. It has a light green hard stone cap which is a later replacement...

This old carved amber snuff bottle is a late 19th century product. On one side, it depicts a Ling Zhi (靈芝) growing from behind a rock; on the other side, there is a magical beast. It is 2" high, 1 1/2" wide at the widest part and 1" thick. It is in great condition

Chinese Carving candle holder attendant, mounted on a gilt bronze French ormolu base. The heavenly attendant has original polychrome pigments of red, green, brown and beige and holds a long staff connected to the brass candleholder.
