Chinese porcelain vase decorated with scrolling strings, peaches, and bats. In some areas, the vase contains the stylized character for happiness. The bottom of the vase contains an inscription reading: Guang Xu Nian Xing. Age: 19th-20th century. Size: diameter 9.5" height 13.5"

A set of three carvings of three different types of birds. One appears to be a falcon and another a magpie like species. Each bird has been carefully carved and painted making birds to look alive. Age: 20th century. Size: length 3.75" width 1.6" height 2.25"

Jade carving of a bat spreading its wings on one side and on another side a coin shaped motif. Bats are considered to be an auspicious animal where the name is synonymous to fortune in Chinese. The coin contains a four character engraving possibly reading: Fu Shou Quan Shuang, or roughly translated as having both fortune and longevity. An archaic style Chinese jade object in the style of Han burial Jade objects. Top contains a motif of mythical beasts and the center section is incised with scrolling vines with a circular hole carved out in the center.The clear line seen below the beasts is a plastic wire to attach the jade piece on the black felt panel. The rectangular box with ornate gilt decorated panels (each a different scene), three on each side and one on each end, of deities in combat on black lacquered surface. the interior painted red. The sutra with leather ends and sturdy paper leaves with mostly Sanskrit and hand illustrated in colors variably throughout. All good condition with reasonable wear. Rare Song dynasty qingbai cup head ewer, covered with good qingbai glaze and cup shape on top, good condition, size: 14 cm height.

This early 20th century Famille Rose snuff bottle features hand painted chrysanthemum, cherry, rose, peony and other unknown blossoms on a white background. It is 2 3/8” high, 2 1/8” wide and 1 1/8” thick. The cap and spoon are replacements. It is in very good condition.
