Antique Tibetan Buddhist small reliquary in stupa form. Carved of quartz crystal in two sections with traces of gold leaf, this votive offering would have once been housed in a larger container and placed at the foot of an architectural stupa acting as either a funeral mound or housing relics of an important person. The ring is moulded with a large female bust on the top. She is either a deity or a high-born lady, with a tall draped hairdress and diadem.

19th century kagamibuta (“mirror lid”) netsuke, its top carved in low relief with a seated boy wearing rich robe decorated with coin pattern and holding a butterfly net in his hand. Wonderful depiction of robe lines, elegantly incised textile decoration. Beautiful patina, swinging metal loop at the back for the cord. Diameter 1 1/4 inches.
Moche 200bc - 700ad varved bone pin implement with the top carved as a full figure wearing a tunic and headband long hair and holding a strombus shell trumpet. Condition as shown but is quite stable and solid L 5.25".
Japanese bronze statue of a horned oni with long, curly hair, sharp fangs and claws. He wears a capelet with gilded puffs of smoke and yingyang, and a gilded harness across his chest. His trousers are shaped like tigers' heads biting into his legs, with a gilded belt and tiger stripes. He holds a lotus flower high above his head, supporting a bronze singing bell bowl with gold gilded flowers, butterflies, and vines all around it and raised dots all along its bottom half...
A Japanese extraordinary polychrome ivory netsuke depicting a lively monkey. The monkey is shown holding a giant peach branch with its right hand, with a strong expression of satisfaction on its face. With its other hand, it scratches its back, adding a touch of realism to the scene.
