A Very Large, Fine and Rare Korean Buddhist Painting:
Korea, Joseon dynasty, early 19th century. removed from a frame.
Buddha, Amitahha, and Assembled Attendant deities.
Painted in polychrome mineral pigments on linen cloth.
It’s in very finr condition, it measures 87” w. x 42.5” h. (221cm w. x 108 cm h.).
From our Chinese Monochrome Collection, a fine carved jade image of Guanyin, late 19th- early 20th century, depicting the deity with a wonderful serene expression in a variation of Royal Ease mudra while sitting upon a rockwork base, and cradling a ruyi sceptre in her right arm. The jade is of pale olive tone with russet colored highlights and is rather substantial in heft, weighing almost 1.4 pounds.
Size and Condition: 5 inches tall, 4 1/4 inches wide, 1 1/2 inches thick...
Length approximately 11.5cm (across the handles). In good condition.

Featuring an ovoid shaped body supported by a straight foot, tapering inwards to its shoulders onto a slightly flaring neck. Its body is carved with horizontal lines with each corner row adorned with applied horns. It is covered overall in an olive-green 'Yue' celadon glaze, except for the feet...
A Korean, floral-form, moulded brush from the Goryeo dynasty; C12th. Delicately potted with incised decoration to give the impression of a lotus leaf. Covered over-all with a thin celadon glaze, except for the remnants of three kiln supports to the outer base. A beautiful item for the Scholar's desk.

Condition; with a well executed Kintsugi repair to the rim. A couple of abrasions to the glaze on the rim.

This brilliant turquoise dish is molded with a multi-lobed well and flat rim, the edge of which has been polished. The base is flat and carries an incised “China” mark at the center. It is in good condition.

This is a nice celadon Longquan plate with the twin fish pattern, glaze intact but with natural manufacturing defect of bubbles bursting and small defect of crack during firing, still nice rare muzeum piece.....
Antique Chinese Peking glass snuff bottle. Made of black glass overlaid on a pink glass ground. It is carved with a man on a horse on one side and the other with a scholar's attendant walking with a large blossoming branch slung over his shoulder. Large flowering branches sprout from the ground on either side. The lid is made of rose quartz and the spoon is bone.

A Changsha ewer was applied on the surface with low-relief grapevine motifs and highlighted with brown glaze.
It was a precious piece by preserving the intact condition.
