Indonesian Minahasa Tribe ( South Sulawesi ) Belt Buckle ( 17th - 19th centuries or earlyer ) copper - brass alloy gilded , decorated with a abstrakt kind of "Naga" at centre surrounded by plants . L : 15 cm. It is one of a collection of alltogether 14 rare pieces to be sold now.

An antique bronze rain drum with natural patina from the F Knoll Collection. Country of origination is Laos. Top features a bas relief in the concentric circles with families of stacking frogs on each of four positions. Elephant figurals shown marching up to each handle. The center displays a 12 pointed sun.

Age old restoration. Some loss to one frog consistent with its age...

A very rare scroll weight resp. paper weight made from glass and painted with a very pleasing romantic landscape . This painting is done in a typical Qianlong manner on a opaque white glaze and is covered with a thick layer of transparent glaze. Qianlong Period ( 1736 - 1795 ) On the back side of the piece is something like a very small signature which can be seen on the last enlargement. L : 17,5 cm. B : 3,3 cm. H : 1,2 cm. A pair of Kangxi-Yongzheng lotus-shaped blue and white dishes, freely painted with floral sprays in nine separate panels encircling a central field. Both dishes have very fine and luminous glaze.

Condition report: Dish 1 is basically perfect with only slight wear to rim edges...

A good ruby red Peking (Beijing) glass bowl. The base carries the four character seal mark of the Qianlong Emperor and this item was made during his reign (1736-1795). Condition - good there are small chips to the rim and there is age related wear to the foot rim consistent with an 18th Century attribution...

A Blanc de Chine Libation Cup. Of rhinoceros horn form on one side with a tiger seated below flowering prunus whilst looking up at a Dragon. The other with a deer below pine and a stork. Chinese 18thC. Height 7.2 cm. Length 13.7 cm. Condition: there is a shallow glaze flake 0.4 cm and 0.3 cm to the rim (See last image) and a small flake in the foot.

A charming Kangxi famille verte teapot, elegantly mounted in pewter and dark hardwood (possibly ebony). The mounting is classic 19th century English workmanship, with fluid contours and elegant form...

Unfortunately the images are not able to show the strenght resp. the richness of the really superb and glossy turquoise glaze which covers a very nice moulded floral decoration with all in all 10 boys. This really extremely nice vase is displayed in its exactly fitting old wooden stand. Kangxi period 18th. century. H :( with stand ): 32,6 cm. ( Without stand ) : 28,2 cm. Condition : Perfect. Provenance : Old south German collection.

Second of three molded, foliate Kangxi blue and white plates in superb condition. Decorated with eight figures in period costumes in cobalt blue. No chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs or glaze crackle. About 9-1/4" or 23.5cm diameter. The "sleeve dance" depicted can be traced back at least as early as the Zhou dynasty. Please note the finely decorated reverse side with ring of Lingzhi cartouches. Under glaze cobalt blue is identical on all three plates...

Antique Chinese Ming Dynasty porcelain plate with celadon glaze decorated with a molded raised pair of raised fish in the center. The underside of the plate has a raised lotus motif with petals radiating out from the unglazed foot. The twin fish is an auspicious symbol representing harmonious marriage and good fortune.
