A rare bamboo chado tea caddy for powdered green tea, the interior covered with black lacquer. The exterior carved with the four gentlemen of winter: plum, bamboo, chrysanthemum and orchid. Subtly embellished with silver wire. Condition: lower part with a crack, silver wire partially lost, a bit dusty, traces of age. Dimension: height: c. 6.3 cm, diameter: c. 5.7 cm.

A rare Tang dynasty bronze mirror with animal and flower motif, good condition with short crack at the rim please see picture for detail, size: 10 cm diameter.

A Chinese jade vase of spinach hue with darker splashes; it is carved on both sides of the body with flower head scrolls, the shoulders are decorated with elephant heads and mobile rings. The cover terminates with a knob carved in a fluted design. Beautifully carved and in excellent condition, this is a highly impressive and decorative object. size: 10 1/2 inches ( 26.5cm) high. age: late Qing/early Republic.

18th Century Chinese Gilt Cloisonne Enamel Box with Bird & Plum Flower

Korean Buncheong ware bowl decorated with four medallions of flowers impressed in the center surrounded by a rope like pattern. The outer side of the bowl is decorated with an incised diagonal stripe pattern. Buncheong is a style where the clay is impressed with a design while still soft, then filled in with a white slip, and then coated with a clear glaze. This mid 19th century Japanese netsuke of a KAWAZU (frog) is 1 ¼ inches tall 2 1/8 inches long and 2 ½ inches wide. It depicts a frog resting on a folded lotus leaf. The frog has two inlayed eyes. It is carved from stag horn and is in very good condition. The signature is unknown.

Sculpted from soft white volcanic tuff from central Java of a Majaphit royal princess. Her coiffure is pulled back and topped with a lotus tiara, and she wears a pair of foliated looped earrings. The rendering of her delicate features is very reminiscent to classical Indian sculptures.

The Majaphit empire is the last Indianized kingdom in Indonesia. Based in eastern Java, it existed between the 13th and 16th centuries...

This is a stoneware crock, 11 1/2" high and approximately 10 1/2" diameter, natural non-gray color, the "2" cut into the wet clay before it was fired. There are several edge chips, but there is some white paint on one side of the rim that is NOT chips, and it comes off with the fingernail. Note the glaze. I am a fine arts dealer and stoneware is not my area of expertise, so, I hope I am identifying this properly...
