Copper lustre cream or milk jug / pitcher, both sides transfer printed and enameled with Hope sitting on the seashore by an anchor, pointing towards the horizon where a ship is seen sailing away. Sunderland, England c 1830, unmarked. Height "3 ¼ / 8.5 cm. Condition: beak with a hairline (cf. pic). A larger Sunderland jug with Charity is presented in another GC offer (cf. last pic).
Blue and white sparrow beak milk or cream jug and lid transfer printed in two rows with a Chinoiserie pattern. Unmarked, English, c 1790. Height including lid "6 ¼ / 16 cm. Condition: the jug with two hairlines, the lid with star crack and rim frits (cf. pics).

A 19thC Bohemian red glass and enamel vase. This late Victorian era red or ruby flash 7-1/4" tall lobed vase features clear panels with acid etching with hand applied blue, orange and green enamel painting as well as traces of gold trim on the top edge. It has a rough unfinished pontil and this decorative vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs other than some wear to the upper gold trim band...
This is a really rare ancient Egyptian green glazed scaraboid of a dwarf.
The underside incised with motif of four intertwined uraei.

Unusual Japanese small gyosho bako (merchant's box) made with Kiri (Paulownia) wood in all original finish. The box holds four drawers, with decorative black iron plating and handles. The top 3 drawer interiors have been lacquered in black while the bottom drawer has also been lacquered in red. With original keys included.

An interesting gunpowder horn dating to the 19th / early 20th century. The slightly curved body is made from water buffalo horn, carved with different motifs as tendrils, fisch scales and Singa masks. The suspension area and the closing mechanism with Singa head, the wide end with a wooden stopper. The gunpowder was stored in the Batak house in large gourds, the chief carried his own personal supply in such containers like this one, which he wore suspended from a chain around his neck...

The slightly curved body is made from water buffalo horn, carved with curvilinear motifs, and one metal insert. At the center a frontal Singa mask with iron suspension lug, to which a chain would have been attached, the zoomorphic closing mechanism is also ending in a Singa head...
