An Arita dish decorated entirely with a dense arabesque of trailing bush clover vine and leaf with flowers, lotuses. This design belongs to a class of designs called hosoge which ultimately derive from Chinese patterns of the Tang period. Jar or bottle vase has a low neck with a flaring mouth and a spherical body supported on a footring. The mouth’s edge is clear glazed, showing the buff-white body. Glazed with a russet-brown rust glaze suffused with silvery-black flecks, that depending on the light, can yield tones from a metallic red-brown to silvery-purple. The footring is unglazed revealing a warm, buff-white porcelain body. Good condition, with no damages...
A quatrefoil sugar bowl, cover and stand all with floral decoration. The cover with a plum like fruit and leaf finial. Both the stand and the cover have painted dark purple rims. Both the stand and the bowl are marked with incised, “DV”. The stand has no punctuation and the bowl has a period after each letter. The stand is approx. 8 ½ by 7 inches (22 x 18 cm) and the sugar bowl with cover is 4 inches tall, 6 ½ inches long and 5 inched wide (10.5 x 17 x 13 cm)...
This is Thick Indigo dye rare & Excellent asamai-shibori kimono in Edo period(1800-1868). All the designs that acting of the pine, the bamboo, and the plum tree is good are expressed by the technique of shibori. It is as beautiful as the picture. All 1shibori was done by the hand. It is an advanced wonderful technology. Textile seems to be hand spun and woven.There are a very little stain and pinhole. However, it is excellent. I recommend it for your collection...

Wonderful and complete sculpture of Padmavati, a Hindu goddess who is worshipped as an aspect of the goddess Lakshmi, but who also plays an important role in Jainisme as the protecting goddess of the 23rd Tirthankara. This brilliantly enamelled dish belongs to the same kind as the dish listed before ( # 396 ). However, this one is much more thinly potted, and its decoration, with a Phoenix in the center, is executed even more lavishly than on # 396. A Qing Dynasty Yongzheng period ( 1723 - 1735 ) Famille Rose ( soft color ) dish. Diameter : 27,2 cm. Condition : Perfect.

A rare and elegant first period Dr. Wall Worcester cream boat. This thinly potted superb example is of vertical faceted form with a double C-scroll handle with a raised thumb rest, and is painted in blue in the Prunus Root pattern. The gnarled root depicted has flowering branches trailing around the rim and small insects, the bottom with workman mark "IH".
