An Unusual Pair of Newell Harding Coin Silver Salts, in a Georgian Style. Dimensions; 3" in diameter x 1.5" high; weight 7.2 troy ounces. Excellent condition. Monogram, the same as on our Harding Pitcher, item number 1866 and Trocadero number 1099895. Note that the "Harding" part of the mark is rubbed, but can be made out on one.

Victorian Classical coin silver baby cup, ca 1860. Baluster bowl with cast leaf-capped double-scroll handle and raised foot. Chased leaf and tendrils forming frame (vacant). Beaded and Greek key rims. Unidentified marks associated with Philadelphia and phrase “Pure Coin”. Very good condition with deep patina.

This is a finely potted butterfly bowl dated to the Qing dynasty - Tongzhi period.It thas a yellow background surrounded with butterflies with brown, pastel blue and yellow colour.

Condition:
It is in good condition with no repair restoration, chip or glaze crazing. Only manufacturing imperfection and rubbing on the rim which can be seen in the photos.

A beautiful set of 6 Antique JAPANESE SIGNED Wooden Stack Boxes that fit perfectly into one another! They show the exquisite natural lines of the wood and were finished with transparent lacquer varnish. Nice color of the wood, like mahagony. Overall in good condition, with very minor inconsequential small marks of age/use. Size: A total of 6 boxes, the largest: length 15" x depth 12 1/2" x height 5". Burmese Shan State religious text, 14 leaves made of lacquered and silver leaf on cloth, front and back covers are carved of wood and lacquered red with gold on the inside, raised lacquer polyscript with notes on paper in the margins, 19th century or older. Size: 21.75" long x 5.25" wide x 1.5" thick

Fiddle dinner spoon from Hall & Elton (1839 -1890), Connectitcut, the pointed shape of the blade indicates mid 19th century. Hall & Elton is known to have made lots of silvered cutlery. However, this spoon is tested for a silver content of at least 830/1000 (= Swedish silver standard), and so probably is coin silver. Sterling silver was introduced 1870 in America. Length "8 ¾ / 22.5 cm, weight 45 grams. Condition: fine.

Tambourine Karyobinga, depicted with butterfly wings. On the reverse an oval ring serves as a ring. It is likely that this is a scarf ring. It is certain that it is not an object that has been modified because it would have been impossible to weld without destroying the patinas...

Chinese Silver Boy Bell Pendant, Ca. 1900, 2" high, 1" wide, 5/8" deep, this boy has very loud bell inside him, both side has same raised design, his mouth open and laughing, holding Peach with 2 hands, with Chinese style Pig Tail hair do. He is very happy boy and the condition is tarnished silver.

A scholar's Yixing brush washer with a white crackle glaze interior. On the exterior raised in high relief and enameled decorated are two quilong chasing the flaming pearl. In excellent condition, it measures 4" diameter by 1.25 inches high. Dates circa 1880.

It is 61.3 inches (156 cm) in circumference by 32.7 inches (83.2 cm) wide. The herb powder beads are 0.45 inch (1.14cm) in diameter. There are 91 herb powder beads, 21 small Peking glass beads, 4 large green Peking glass beads, and 1 Peking glass head. It weighs 0.55 Lb.

Some of the glass beads' openings have flea bite chips and small chips...

A very fine quality antique 19th century, Islamic, Indo-Persian, lacquered papier mache bowl of lobed circular form, with a scalloped rim on a raised circular foot. It has 26 lobed petals superbly hand-painted in gold and various pigments with flower sprays, foliage, and teardrop-shaped paisley motifs. The lower rounded body is finely hand-painted with floral sprays and perching birds (gul-o-bulbul, roses and nightingales). The interior of the bowl is fitted with a brass lining...

A rare Kashmir teapot with hinged lid standing on three small feet. The metal base, here copper or bronze, was first engraved with special tools to create the design in relief, the grooves were later filled with glass and then embellished with additional engraving and shiny gilding. This technique is called in India "meena" or "meenakari" and was first applied by the Mughal. With a small handwritten note explaining its provenance. Dimension: 20.8 cm long, 14 cm high, weight: 688 g.

Offered is a very lovely, antique, 12 tube Pharmacy Apothecary Suppository Mold, circa 1880. This example measures 9.5 inches long x 1.75 inches wide x 1 inch high and weighs more than 4 pounds. I believe it is made of bronze and is plated in a nickel finish.

Unusual 19th century netsuke of a floor screen with pierced decoration of a dragon in flight among clouds over cresting waves. Appears to be a reference to the Chinese legend of a artist painting a dragon so realistically, that it came alive and flew to heaven. Carved on both sides, the scaled body of the dragon showing through breaks in the clouds, beautiful light staining, pleasant wear and patina. Himotoshi goes through the back down to the bottom of the screen...
