Japanese antique transom made of keyaki (elm) wood and carved with scenes of samurai warriors. On the left hand side, a general gives orders to his troops (small figures carved in the round) partially behind a camp curtain. On the right hand side, another samurai rides a battle horse and raises his weapon high over his head. All around them are pine branches and swirling mist.

An unusual shaped dish with a sparrow, berry sprig and chrysanthemums.The inside has the typical aqua blue glaze. Nyonya wares are over-glaze polychrome enamelled porcelains made in Jingdezhen in the Kiangsi province of China for the Straits Chinese, or Babas, whose female counterparts are called Nyonyas, hence the term Nyonya ware. Nonya wares were mainly reserved for festive occasions and special functions. Size: W. 18.5 x 11.6cm. H. 5.8cm. Condition: No chips or repairs.

Chinese white glazed Blanc de Chin Double Gourd Vase with incised 4 Ruyi with 3 flower petals inside each Ruyi design, 19th century, 5 1/2" high, 2 1/8" diameter-bottom rim, 1/2" diameter-top rim, 4" wide-widest middle section of the vase, unglazed bottom and sand got stuck around bottom rim during firing and also large sand firing mark on the side of the vase about 1/2" long, all the dots and dark area is kiln imperfect markings. Antique Chinese porcelain vase, of a stylized gourd shape, the neck fluted into a dramatic flared lip with foliate edges. Scenes of playing children in a famille rose glaze color palette and sculpted beast head "handles" at the vase's sides. The large lower portion of the vase body has an inscription with three red chops, tapering into a short flaring foot with slightly recessed base and red four character mark.

Antique Chinese pair of Large Shiwan ware goddess statues. These wares originated out of kilns in the Shiwanzhen subdistrict within the city of Foshan, going as far back as the Neolithic period. Each goddess mirrors the form of the other, holding a large vase above their heads, on a cloud pedestal with a small deer at their sides as a symbol of longevity. Each statue is pigmented with deep navy blue, robin's egg blue, beige, and white underglazes with some areas left bare.

A collection of four small stoneware elephants with different celadon glazes from the Si Satchanalai or Sawankhalok kiln in Thailand. Dimension: tallest: c. 10.5 cm long x 8.2 cm high, smallest: c. 7 cm long x 5.6 cm high. Condition: two elephants with slightly chipped ears.

Distorted shoe shaped (kutsugata) tea bowl with a flaring mouth made of light, coarse, unrefined Mino clay. The expertly thrown body was trimmed with a potters knife in its lower part and its brim. It dates back to the early Edo Period (1603-1868).

It is covered with a very deep black iron oxide glaze inside and outside. A 'window' on the side has been left unglazed and is decorated with two fish nets hung for drying.

A fine Georgian wine glass with a multiple-spiral opaque twist (MSOT) stem below an ogee bowl. The stem has a flattened shoulder knop and a basal knop. This knop configuration, combined with an uncommon twist type, makes this glass quite unusual. Conical foot with a rough, snapped pontil. Good color, tooling marks, and striations.

A Chinese jade vase, carved as a lotus leaf with a flower in one corner and a ribbon tying the leaf and its coiled trailing stalk forming the base. The composition is very attractive, the body is quite thinly carved and the stone is of celadon hue. A high quality example of Qing lapidary arts, it measures 14 cm ( 5 1/2 inches) high.
