An interesting and impressive large Thai bronze sculpture with silver and glass decoration, early-mid 18th. century.

Surely made for a wealthy temple or person. The Buddha is made in the finest later Ayutthaya style, likely 1750 or so. Crowned Buddha with an exceptionally rich decoration in silver and bronze beads and thick thread of Jewellery and floral design on the entire figure. Many of the leafs looks like solid silver and much of the decor too...

An interesting and rare dish, something of a homage both to Nabeshima ware and root vegetables. This is a late Ming dynasty (16th / 17th Century) blue and white bowl. On the outside of the bowl it is painted, all around the bowl, with blue background with three sets of lotus flower and foliage and three white cranes or herons in white colour. On the inside of the bowl, a small lotus flower is shown blooming from the top view.

There is some abrasion, sand grits on the base and inside of the bowl as shown in the pictures and minute unglazed spots (pic 2)...

A small Imari porcelain teapot of rectangular form with an arch-shaped handle ending in a blossom. Beautifully decorated with a hare and a dragon in a cartouche between flowery motifs in iron red, green, yellow and gold, the top with auspicious longevity characters in underglaze blue. The flat base without glaze. Condition: fine, only the knob of the lid with a tiny loss. Dimension: c. 14.6 cm high, 12.5 cm long.
