The cover with four Islamic inscriptions set in oblong cartouches inlaid in bone and reserved on a dark wood veneer. All with a lacquer finishing, shining golden. A magnificent bronze Guanyin was preserved in a decent look.
By a very fine condition, the bronze deity was reserved with the original patina of the painted gold leaf and the enduring old and darken bronze sheen.
Sitting on the legendary holy beast- Hong, the Guanyin was in a easy-posture with one leg resting on the back of the animal and with another leg stepping on the lotus pedestal.
She was heavily cast by fine quality of bronze and was carved by brilliant crafts...

Pair of 19th century Chinese paper fans very finely and densely painted in extensive detail with figural scenes. One fan painting features beauties at a temple surrounded by clouds holding celestial maidens and a deer. A monkey is paying homage to a female who is seated on a lotus throne. The second fan painting depicts a scene with beauties engaged in various scholarly leisure activities. The fans date from the 19th century...

Foliated form dish covered with ge type brown celadon glaze. Diameter = 12.5 cm. Song Dynasty. Condition : a tiny fritting to the rim (as seen on the picture), no cracks, hairlines and free from restorations.

Covered with green celadon to the footring and decorated with lines encircling the neck, unglazed base. Diameter = 9 cm, Height = 7 cm. Period : sawankhalok, 15th century. Condition : small chip to the footring, no cracks, hairlines and free from restorations.

Covered with crackled green celadon to the foot ring, unglazed base. Diameter = 10.2 cm Song Dynasty. Condition : restoration to a small fritting, no cracks or lines.

Decorated with chilong on the exterior, glazed base. Diameter = 7.7 cm, Height = 3.5 cm. Late Ming Condition : excellent, no chis, cracks, hairlines and restorations.

This is a small and beautiful Jin Dynasty (AD 1115 - 1234) Junyao vase. It stands on a short foot rim with a recessed base. It is beautifully glaze of dark greyish lavender blue and of nice ageing gloss. It is more beautiful than the actual picture. The thick glazing flow just stop short before the foot rim.

It is in good condition. No chip, crack, repair or restoration. The vase has not been cleaned. You can see speckles of the soil adhesion to it...

Perhaps the best dragon carving we have ever owned, here is a solid Keyaki carving taken from the interior of a temple with glass eyes glaring fiercely out at anyone who threatens the sanctity of Buddhism. Flames leap from the body blown by fierce winds as it rises from the Churning ocean. The carving practically roils out from the wood panel, fully in three dimensions. It is 78 x 26 x 10 cm (31 x 10 x 4 inches)...
