Description: A nephrite Houtien jade carving was very well rendered as two monkeys. By a good-wished metaphor of Being High Ranking Officials Generations after Generations, the monkey mother was holding hands with baby monkey face to face. In a celadon tint, the jade piece was done by traditional craftsmanship. It is a very good example for Chinese jade carving for the characteristics of jade carving skills and jade material. Date: Qing Dynasty, Dimensions: 4.2cm x 3.5cm x 1.6cm.

Description: A celadon Longquan stem-cup was well molded. By a dark green tint, the glaze was well applied all over the surface except the foot ring. Motifs of flowers and branches were finely incised on the inner wall of the bowl and subtly revealed under the glaze. Authenticating firing red was obvious at the unglazed foot ring and the inside of the looped foot trunk. In quite good size and a perfect condition, the stem cup stands well in a decent look...

Description: A Ming Longquan long-neck bottle was in decent look. When heavily potted, the bottle was inscribed on the surface with pattern of flower scrolls. Immense glaze bubbles were yielded under the celadon glaze like mist. Light incursions were caused to the mouth rim while firing red was obviously found in the body clay at the foot ring. It is a nice Longquan piece from Zhejiang province. Date: Ming Dynasty(AD1368-1644) , Height: 26cm.

A well painted pair of Kangxi style rouleau shaped vases decorated in underglaze blue with branches of prunus blossom. These items were made, circa 1880 - 1920, during either the late Qing or early Republic periods. Condition - each has a small hole drilled 1.5 inches (3cm) above the base. One vase has a chip and associated crack to the footrim. No further damage and no restoration...

An underglaze blue painted jar and cover decorated in 17th/18th Century Kangxi style with prunus blossoms against a "cracked ice" back ground. This item was made later, during the late Qing or very early Republic period, circa 1875 to 1915. Condition - very good. There is a very slight shallow surface chip to the top of the neck. No further chips, no cracks and no restoration...

A Cizhou pillow was preserved in very good condition.
When decorated on the frontal side with incised motifs of fishes, flowers and water weeds and by a ring-punched ground, the pillow was left being unglazed at the bottom.
Naturally and vibrantly carved, the motifs were rendered in a dated photographic characteristic which we usually seen in the wares of northern regions of early periods.

Traditionally the style and shape of these old Tibetan wool boots was used by all Buddhist monks, and were considered part of the monks costume. The specific decorative cut pattern and colors of fabric indicated the area of Tibet and the position of the Monk. I am not able to identity the Tibetan region or station of the monk who worn this particular pair of boots

Description:

A porcelain stem-cup was uniquely molded.
By a geometric pattern of lines and circles which were composed by dozens of pointed clay dunes on the outer surface, the stem-cup was applied with the milky-yellow glaze inside and outside until to the portion of the stem trunk.
Obvious glaze crackles and fading condition were caused by the enduring age when one minute old chip was found on the mouth rim...

Description: An excavation jade seal was made from one nephrite Houtien pebble. Being carved as a lion crouching on top, the jade seal was intringuingly left a minute hole between the legs for hanging. In a charming yellowish-green tint, the jade piece was incursioned in parts to a calcification condition due to long time of burial. When in an enduring aged patina, the jade was overall in charming greasy look. A Chinese character " Ji" was carved as print. It is a metaphor word for good luck...
