An antique pair of Chinese vases with lingzhi mushroom outcrops on a craggy rock platform. The lingzhi mushroom is a symbol of longevity and health. The platform could display an object. These wares originated out of kilns in the Shiwanzhen sub-district within the city of Foshan, going as far back as the Neolithic period. Each vase is pigmented with custard yellow and aubergine.

1930's Chinese Fuzhou Lacquer Happy Buddha

It is 13.4 inches (34 cm) tall by 13.6 inches (34.5 cm) wide. It is 646 gram (1.3 Lb).

It has rubbing of paint, a chip at the hat's finial, chips and cracks at one spot at the sleeve, stains, writings at the underside of the hat and bottom, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

Unusual version of the tool - it lacks a vessel part for ink soaked cotton, but has a spike. I am not entirely sure how it functions, but it is probably fixed to a wooden beam by pushing in the spike, and the thread is pulled to the desired point to make a straight line...

This carved amethyst double snuff bottle is a mid 20th century product. It is 3” high, 2 ¼” wide and 1” thick. One of the snuff bottles is a leaping carp. The other is a vase surround by lotus leaves and lotus blossoms. The top is a pair of intertwined birds. Ocean waves support both bottles. The two spoons are later replacements. The flaked composition of the crystal has left a small chip on the rim of the vase. Aside from this small imperfection, it is in great condition.

This Tibetan woven wool sash from the mid to late 20th century measures 5½ x 104 inches (14 x 264.2 cm) including the braided fringes and is in excellent condition.
