A child's embroidered dress front from Hunza valley, located in the rugged, mountainous northern areas of Pakistan. Silk thread on cotton ground, densely embroidered in cross stitch and petit point. Estimated age mid 20th century. Measures 28 x 48.5 cm (11 x 19"). Some staining on the front with some dye bleeding. The reverse is lined in silk.
An antique Japanese Ikebana basket in a cylindrical form woven in a herringbone pattern. 6 vertical bamboo supports with flared feet connected with a lucky turtle weave at the base and a woven coin half the way up the side. The turtle would represent longevity and the coins would symbolize prosperity. With a star crossed base and two ring handles.

Neolithic Hongshan Nephrite Jade Deity Mask Pendant, the face with large almond shaped eyes and a large curling Rams horn Crown or head piece, the jade is so unbelievably worn see the horns on the sides shows that someone rubbed the sides so much the sculp is flat , also the back upper section shows extensive wear. The Suspension holes are biconically off set drilled with mineral deposits within. The entire surface is covered in tremolite growth , a wonderful pendant. Size H 2"W over 1.5"
Japanese Momo Coral carving of a Geisha pink with white streaks, nice carving and good detail for such a small carving. The base is cut to fit though tightly the base I have used nano tape to stick her to the base so none of the figure is covered. Size overall 2.5" figure alone is just under 2" and weighs 6.7G
H. 23 cm. (Excluding the beard. Very good complete condition. The mask is covered with red fabric, the eyes are made of aluminium.

Early 20th century Chinese hand made moss green pottery storage jar featuring an unusual cut out in the lid for easy lifting. The jar interior is glazed dark brown with the rim having a clear glaze. The green glaze is thick and rich. The lid has 3 small chips on the exterior unglazed part of the rim that can be studied in the photos, otherwise in excellent condition. This is a very special jar measuring 6 inches, 7 inches diameter.

Chinese Scholar’s two-tier solid rosewood stand with carved boxwood edges. Produced in the 1950s, this is actually a copy of a 17th - early 18th century style that was made of zitan and edged in boxwood. A strong stand that will hold your heaviest object, the pieces were machine made with rough carvings, hand assembled (pegged and glued), and then hand finished and polished. textile is handwoven from indigenous plant fiber. The fibers are supposed to "last forever" so jacket will "never show used"...The thread used for hand embroidery (mostly using cross stitch technique) appears to be cotton. Jacket would be worn open, the silver buttons are intended for decoration only. I also have the matching pants for the jacket, which also "live forever"...

A Chinese moon or flask vase painted in qianjiang style. One side of the vase shows a valley scene with mountains in the background with a man. There is a iron red seal and black writing at the top. The reverse side shows two swallows on a willow branch, again with a red seal and further writing. The vase is completed with a pair of qilong handles. The inside glaze white, as well as the base with the base rim left unglazed.
