A tanged 'Luristan' bronze dagger or short sword from Ancient Near East, Caspian Sea Area, Bronze age, dating Early-mid 2nd mill BC.

The dagger very heavy fabric sharp shoulders and slight raised midsection tappering to the sharp edges.

Condition: Good Very fine nice patina asnd fine metal, uncleaned with deposits.

Interesting and scarce bronze dagger from Greater Persia, c. 3rd. millenium BC.

Among the earliest types of bronze daggers, probably dating deep in the 3rd. millenium BC. No hole for the rivet and with a slightly raised midsection. The upper part of both sides of the blade finely engraved with a heering pattern!

Size: c. 21 cm.

Condition: Very fine, intact with rough uncleaned patina.

1) A type 2 dagger 23,5 cm, with rounded tip. low shoulders and tappering edges, c. 3rd. mill. BC. Intact.
2) A very early dagger of the type 1, 20,9cm., dating to the 4th.-3rd. mill. BC. Intact
3) A 18,8 cm dagger with low shoulders and pronounced central midrib, 3rd.-2nd mill BC. Small loss to tip.
All three daggers have holes for fastening rivets in the tang.

Interesting set of miniature work axes and amulets , c. 3rd. mill. BC.-1st. mill. AD.

The centerpiece is a mounted Roman or Darkage axe amulet (400-800 AD), here mounted to a wonderful modern repro of an ancient axe-shaft. It also cludes a European celt in bronze and Near Eastern axe amulets in Carnelian.

Size. The shaft of the silver axe is 41 mm. tall and 21 mm. wide for the amulet.

An attractive two-tone silex / flint axe of the unpolished type with small butt and a wide blade, Time of the Great Buriel mounts, c. later 4th. mill. BC.

Size: 23,8 cm. long and quite heavy, so this would probably have been an offer or ritual axe.

An impressive polished greystone axe, from the great buriel mounts of Denmark, in the later 4th.-3rd. mill. BC.

The axe carved by micro-crushing and polishing the surface into the large curving broadsides towards the edge and butt. The axe with old tags, found at the island Lolland.
